“Solid restaurant in Elizabethton”
Reviewed 14 May 2013

Ate here for Mothers Day. The steak is tastier and cooked better than Outback, the salad crispy and potato very good. The service very efficient. Clean and friendly. Not sure what people expect, but I am happy to have a reliable steak restaurant in Elizabethton. Will go back for sure.

“A disappointing lunch”
Reviewed 9 May 2013

We stopped here for lunch and were quickly seated as we were apparently the first to arrive on the day. Service was good and the server was very friendly. Tried the potato skins and a cup of french onion soup as appetizer. Soup was ok but skins were a little dry and maybe prepared in advance as they did not seem fresh. Chicken tenders on one entree a little over cooked and the breading was the prevalent flavor. The other entree, a cheese burger, was very average with the meat properly cooked but somewhat dry and even with a very thin slice of cheddar cheese somewhat lacking in flavor. French fries were good. I would try this restaurant again to see if we just visited on an off day.

“Processed food anyone?”
Reviewed 16 April 2013 via mobile

Typical franchise restaurant fare. Noisy atmosphere with loud country western playing in the background. I ordered fish and chips with a side of Spinich. $12. The meal came without the chips. The Spinich was the best part of the meal. Fish was not fresh. They had run out of tarter sauce. Microwaved Wonder bread type rolls were served with the meal. Sam Adams, 22 ounce $6.

“Good experience”
Reviewed 3 April 2013

This is a great chain for this part of the country. Elizabethton needed this. Neat and clean as usual. Service was good, well trained. Steak was good, salad was crisp. They serve a pretty go martini too! I wouldn't single one thing out in particular but would certainly return. This is a "go to spot" when in a less than "urban" urban area.

“New experience in old favorite place”
Reviewed 17 December 2012

I have been coming here for a long time, especially special occasions and group events as they have the room whereas other places in our area do not. This was the first time I opted to eat at the bar as I was solo and the day/time I went was a long wait. Immediate service from the bartender at this horseshoe shaped bar with a marble top and a unique feature I've never seen before -- around the inside rim there is a strip of raised metal about 6" wide with frost as you would see when the freezer door is open to long. The bartender said there is only 2 other bars in the country with this unique feature, such a cool concept & my beer was cold from start to finish. Watching the bartender was an entertaining feature I didn't expect as he took orders, made drinks of all sorts for the entire restaurant simultaneously. Didn't see him stand in one place to long, juggled bottles/glasses to complete the drinks in a swift fashion without spilling a drop. The dinner was served more quickly than at a table and although the steak was a tad more done than I prefer it was no problem to make a new one delivered by the manager to make sure it was to my satisfaction, which it was. The baked potato soup is one of my favorites here as are the rolls, which were so hot and fresh as if just taken out of the oven that minute I've not experienced before at this location. Next time you find yourself at a rush hour time/day and not wanting to wait for a table, I highly recommend dining at the bar for the same great dinner but so much more of an experience.
