We are condo owners at Fairfield Glade, and during our annual visit always make a point of dining at least once at "The Legends", which is located in the clubhouse at Druid Hills G.C., one of several courses on the Fairfield Glade property. During our 2013 visit we stopped by on Friday night for their "Soup and Salad Bar", which features a variety of 3-4 hot soups, salad, and a variety of fresh breads and rolls from which guests may serve themselves and make unlimited visits. We arrived shortly after the dinner service began, which was fortunate since the dining room began to quickly fill with guests afterward. Legends offers several buffets weekly (including an excellent prime rib buffet), as well as their popular Sunday brunch. Special dinner menus and buffets are also served during holiday periods. Legends is arguably the finest restaurant dining within Fairfield Glade, so don't leave without at least one visit.

We ate at Legends our final night at the Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Glade and I only wish we had found it sooner as that would have saved us from some mediocre meals earlier in the week. Very attractive restaurant on the golf course, excellent service, attractive decor and an interesting menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the prime rib special and my wife loved her seafood pasta, both meals were beautifully presented. The chowder that I had as an appetizer was fabulous and the only course that was average was our desert. A warm atmosphere and attentive service with good food, exactly what you want on vacation.

We enjoyed dinner here recently on a Friday night. It was quite crowded and is a favorite in the area. My wife had the tilapia and I had prime rib, both excellent. They were also featuring a German buffet since they were celebrating Octoberfest. The diners around us were obviously enjoying themselves. We will definitely return in the near future.

$19.95 Prime Rib Special on Saturday night was simply superb. The tenderest and tasty roast beef I have ever tasted. Beef is boneless and sliced about 3/4" thick in the dining room next to the buffet table. Buffet is straightforward but well done with soup, bread, salad, green beans, garlic mashed potatoes, etc. au jus and two kinds of horseradish. Only one slice of beef but it is huge and we took some home in container provided. Our waitress was excellent. 14 oz draft beer was only $2.05 each. The four of us all said it was one of best meals we have eaten. The prime ribs were about 24" long and they just kept bringing them out, chef said about 6 used each night. He says they slow cooked them. Ours were medium rare to rare, they keep a few medium to well done heating in the server for those that prefer their beef cooked through. We certainly recommend the Prime Rib Special Night from 4 - 8 pm on Saturdays.

The Legends is a golf club restaurant that has special buffets throughout the week. We usually sit in the bar side, named the Fireside, because it serves sandwiches as well as entrees. Servers are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.
