I travel to see beautiful things and to hear interesting stories. This house and the family that lived there has a very interesting history even after the battle of franklin. Highly recommend!

The tour was a bit of a let down after great tours at other local spots; however the tour guide was knowledgeable and humorous and personalized the tour! It was great!

Kelly was awesome! Her enthusiasm for the history was incredible. I was particularly impressed with the way she interacted with the younger children on the tour. She kindly handled their questions but kept the tour on track.

Clara was a very good docent. She provided great information and was easy to listen to after several other tours.

Wow, while this place is small it is packed with history. What makes it come alive is Thomas. I could spend a day just following him around. I was under the impression that most of the Civil War had passed by Nashville. Boy was I wrong. The city of Franklin has so much to offer I am returning. But in the meantime if you are short on time this is the one place you should not miss.
