the family who runs this park should be giving seminars to campground owners everywhere. the park is great and the people who run it treat their guests like family. it's a really nice park for kids and dogs; a nice place to relax after sightseeing. there's a big pool area, playground and grassy play area.

they also have a round-trip shuttle that takes you into nashville, which is a great idea...

Room Tip: it's quieter away from the road, but satellite service is better closer to the road ---

We have stayed here before when it was not a KOA. Same family runs it and other than the price went up slightly the park is in better shape. It is still a good value and the staff is great. Roads are tight but passable. wifi and cable very good. Currently road construction on I 65 into Nashville so plan your drive time.

This campground has been a family owned Nashville mainstay for many years. I would give it an excellent but I reserve that for very high end campgrounds. This campground is very clean with a very clean pool. The family that runs it has been doing an excellent job for a long time. For a small campground it has a lot of amenities. The pool is nice, they have shuffleboard, an exercise room with a foot massager, picnic tables with checkers, bean bag toss and a very nice play area for kids. All of the roads are paved and the sites are level gravel. The spaces will accommodate rigs of all shapes and sizes. They have a shuttle service to and from downtown Nashville for a fee or the drive is only about 20 minutes, yet you are in the country on a quiet little stream. There is a fenced area for dogs, a very nice laundry and well equipped store. A small super market is 2 minutes away and major shopping and restaurants are one exit away. The price is far more reasonable than the three campgrounds near the Grand Ole Opry. On Thursdays they have live entertainment. For $9 a person, they have a nice fried chicken and vegetables dinner. As of the first of 2014, this is now part of the KOA system, so reservations can easily be made through the KOA system and you can get a 10% discount with the KOA value Kard. If you are vacationing in the Nashville area, Propane is available at the entrance. The family that runs the campground will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend this campground.

Room Tip: Cable is included but if you have satellite dish and want a site that has a clear view of the satellite, just ask and they will assign you to one that does.

We stayed there for one night on our way to Texas. The staff was exceptionally nice and the park was clean, including the rest rooms. The sites are not the largest we've seen, they were ample and navigating our 39 foot fiver was no problem. The interstate runs behind the campground, but we did not hear any road noise. We will definitely stay there again when in the area. It was too cold when we were there to use the pool, so we did not rate it.

This great park is a new KOA. It's called Nashville North KOA, though we found it under its previous name. One of the great things about this park is the nice big pull-thru sites. The people are just wonderful. We talked to Mary on the phone and received a warm welcome from her daughter, Jean, when we arrived. Of course, as Value Card members, we received 10 percent off our stay. We were only here for a night, but we had an opportunity to use the laundry. There are six washers and six dryers, more than at most campgrounds. One of the washers wasn't up to snuff and Jean promptly refunded our money on that. They have free wi-fi, which works, not always the case at other campgrounds. And they have recycling, always a welcome sight, though they don't take glass. There's some traffic noise, but, to out way of thinking, that's more than made up for by the convenient on and off of the interstate. Were sure you'll be just as pleased with this campground as are we.
