Stayed 2014-07-20. We had not planned to stay here but ended up here due to poor travel conditions. To be frank, there is only two places to stay in Jellico and this was the locals recommendation between the two motels.
It is definitely a dated place in need of some updating. It has the big old TVs and well worn carpets. Our room had a rusted escutcheon around the shower head. The shower was set to water saver, and could not be changed. The sink was tired and well worn. Cleanliness was adequate as for surface cleaning but I did not sense a deep cleaning had been done in some time.
The bed and pillows were comfortable.
The location is hard to find behind the McDonalds, but close to I 75 ramps Staff were friendly polite and helpful. Wi-fi is weak or nonexistent.
Overall the place is tired but satisfactory. Reasonable room rates, ($60.00 + Tax/night)
A nice continental breakfast provided.
