“Best pizza in town, hands down.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014 via mobile

With two young kids, pizza is a common dinner request in our household. We've had pizza from every joint in business. The whole family loves Pizza and Gyro. The ingredients are quality, the options varied and there are some unique options, like the Pie Wars 4 and the cheese bread that's so much more than plain old cheese bread. Very much NOT the same-old pie. Added bonus: Prices are a little cheaper than the other local and/or higher end choices.

“Hands down some of the best pizza I have EVER eaten.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014 via mobile

This wonderful little gem is a bit off the beaten path, but ABSOLUTELY worth the effort. As previously stated, the winner of Pie Wars TWO YEARS in a row, and truly worthy of the trophy. The crust is light and soft and just barely crisp on the bottom. The sauces are just fantastic. The pie war winner is a garlic cream sauce, and I JUST can't get enough of it, and the red sauce is every bit as good. Add their fresh toppings, and you have arrived. The signature pizza is the best: garlic chicken. Honestly, a drink fountain and/or brewed iced tea, is the ONLY thing I can think of that would make it MORE perfect.

“Pie Wars Championship Is not Their only Virtue”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014

Even though this establishment won the annual Pie Wars and their pizza was declared the best in Johnson City, we opted for other menu items on our first visit. Hubby had a turkey sub, side salad and fries. The fries were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The roll was very fresh and there was lots of meat in it. I ordered the lamb gyro platter. The pita bread was hot and the best I ever ate. The gyro lamb was sliced thin and plentiful. It was served with a side salad. On the platter there was shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes as well as a Greek sauce that I can't spell. I rolled everything up in that hot pita bread. It was wonderful. I did notice a sign saying the restrooms were out of order--odd they would both be out. Wonder if that was temporary or semi-permanent? They seemed to have some repeat customers, especially for takeout. If you want to sit down and eat, arrive early, there are only 5 tables. Next time we will get a take out pizza.
