We arrived at the Eureka Inn expecting it to be clean, comfortable and accommodating. We were not disappointed. Maria made us feel right at home from the beginning. Her gift of hospitality even extended to helping us choose a dinner location and evening entertainment. Just down the street a Cuban restaurant, the Dining Room, served exquisite fare. Right next door to the Eureka Inn is The Repertory Theater. The USO show featuring upbeat music from the 1940's was delightful! Altogether, our experience was perfect! I was also very impressed with the way Maria cares for the earth, using organic cleaning products, energy-efficient lightbulbs, and composting. We shall return!

I travel three or four times a year to the Johnson City region. The best part of my trip is when I arrive at the Historic Eureka Inn in Jonesborough. Maria has everything ready: my favorite room, my favorite breakfast yogurt and even samples of her latest organic recipes to try. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and charming. The porches are delightful gathering places for the guests and the garden only gets better and better each year. Most guests are return visitors and I'm included in that group!

Room Tip: I prefer a room on the backside of the inn so I can look out at the garden.

Let me just begin by saying "Eureka" ! My sister and I were looking for a great place to spend a weekend. Upon making a reservations, having spoke with the Innkeeper Maria about all the happenings in the local area, I was put at ease about choosing the right place. The Eureka Inn and property

is well maintained and beautiful. Once you get there you understand a lot of love has been placed in this Inn. From the fabulous breakfast (organic friendly) to those great ironed sheets! Maria had happily made our reservations for diner, as well as suggesting other resturants and entertainment we might have an interest in. Everything was perfect. So just know that the Eureka Inn makes any vacation or special event perfect. If you want to have a event or wedding the gardens and courtyard areas are well maintained event down to the off property designated smoking area. Thanks Eureka Inn and Maria for giving two sisters a weekend with a blast! TnT!!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Eureka Inn. We had most of our whole family staying for our wedding in the beautiful courtyard garden. The rooms were clean and made you feel you were at home rather than away. The front porch overlooking main street is so nice in the evening, a few in our wedding party sat out in rocking chairs and we talked through the night. The inn keeper is Awesome and catered to all of our party's needs.!!!

The Eureka is a step back in time (far back in time) with all the modern conveniences, an ideals location, and simply fantastic hospitality. My wife and I travel three hours to the Eureka two or three times each year, and always look forward to our next visit. The innkeeper knows us by name, which only adds to the experience. The rooms are top shelf, with warm tones and subdued elegance. Each room is different, and we enjoy staying in a different room each time we visit. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, as well. We enjoy eating on the second floor porch, which runs the length of the front of the inn, overlooking main street. Jonesborough is a treat, with its historic fabric fabulously intact. The citizenry is passionate about the town, and there is plenty to see and do (even when one of the several festivals are not happening). We cannot recommend highly enough the Eureka Inn!

Old-fashioned hospitality in a beautifully restored setting. Calming atmosphere complete with parlor, porches, gardens. Rooms comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated in late 19th/early 20th c. style. Central to everything in Jonesborough, which is an interesting place to explore on foot.
