This was the second super 8 on our way to Florida. . The pet fee here was only $ 6.00 we paid $ 25.00 in Seville Ohio. The room was OK but again the bathroom needed some updating.
This motel is a bit too close to the highway, very noisy , It rained very heavy so there was additional noise from the downspouts. Not much sllep that night.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We are sorry that you didn't sleep well. The interstate noise does get drowned out most of the time, but unfortunately, it is amplified when it rains. We have tried to find solutions to solving these problems, but the city is adamant about keeping the interstate where it is. We hope next time you come through the weather will be better and you'll give us another chance.

Moved from Florida and noticed there was a $169.00 weekly special, what a joke. This place is infested with drugs, prostitutes, roaches and black mold. Our daughter got sick, take a look at the pics from room 221. We had to check out some 4 days early even though paid for the week just to escape the drugs and black mold. The entire staff and I mean all of them live at the hotel, all Indian, none speak English. Joy, Tina the manager and all the housekeepers including maintenance live onsite. I have no words to explain what a joke this place is. Run down, filthy, noisy, roach infested, fumigated bed bug infested rooms, and almost sent my daughter and wife to the hospital for black mold. Office could have cared less, moved us to smoking room reluctantly and didn't even apologize or offer credit. You can find nice hotel in the area for much less! If you value quietness, cleanliness, no roaches, no black mold, no shady characters, no drugs, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Room Tip: This place is a dump, don't be fooled by the $169.00 weekly starting rate. I know some people ar...

This guest stayed with us for 25 days, checking out 3 days early on Christmas Eve. Their room did not look like this upon check in and we had never before received a complaint about mold in this room. We receive the first complaint about mold in the room 2 weeks into their stay. We took care of the issue and our maintenance man asked them to let us know immediately if any more returned. We did not hear anything else from them until a week later and the room looked like the pictures in this review. Mold does not typically grow this fast over night. The waited for it to get to this point before letting us know. Upon hearing about the return of mold, we gave them a choice between upgrading to a non-smoking room with two queen beds for the same rate or moving to a smoking king. We gave them keys to several rooms to check out and they picked the smoking king. We were not reluctant to move them, we just did not have a non-smoking king available to move them into, but still we would have gladly upgraded them.

Since they have checked out, we have had two guest stay in that room and no mold has returned. The occurrence of mold in this room seems to be isolated to this one guest. The infested look of the pictures came from the guest not reporting it and letting it grow. The guest also never reported any prostitution or drug use. We do not allow illegal activity on our property. If all of our staff truly lived here, we'd be able to keep a constant eye on every section of the property to know when it is happening. Unfortunately, the entire staff doesn't live here, so we rely on guest to let us know when these types of things are happening so that we are able to report it to the police and/or remove them from our property.
