I did not have any intention of staying at this property, but the hotel across the street did not have the room I had reserved, so I went elsewhere. I did not have many options since I had my dog. Happy to see there was no pet fee here. The place was actually better than I expected for the price. The staff was extremely helpful, considering I rolled it at 2AM.

Stopped here overnight while traveling. Found the room to be very clean and updated. Beds were comfortable and the location quiet. Quality is very good for the price. I don't usually stay with Red Roof, but if I find other locations to be similar, I will stay with them again in the future.

No complains here. Hotel was clean, quiet and in a nice area. Indoor pool, large clean room
and a number of restaurants in the area to eat at. Not only was it dog friendly but they did not
charge an additional pet fee. Best complimentary breakfast of our trip. Would stay here again!

Hotel was clean, quiet, had good hot and cold breakfast . Reasonable rates. Friendly staff. Had read bad reviews, but don't know why those people said that. I would certainly stay there again! When we are headed to a destination, we want a reasonable rate and decent place to stay. We felt safe as well, that is very important. There are inside hallways too.

Room Tip: No elevator, may want to ask for ground floor.

My dad and I stayed here on our trip to TN for my research trip to learn about the area since I will be moving from MA to TN. We wanted a cheap, but clean place to stay for 3 nights.

The Red Roof Inn East is not the bottom of the barrel or the cream of the crop, but was just fine for our needs. The room we had on the second floor was very clean and was cleaned well daily, breakfast was good and the attendant was very nice. The hotel does have an older, tired feel to it, but it suited our needs just fine. For a little over the $50 a night we were not expecting luxury but were pleasantly surprised with how well it worked out for us. It was quiet, even though we were facing the front and the highway. Beds were comfortable. Nice flat screen tv, room was large. nice hot water in the shower, wifi worked well and was fast. AC worked well.

It is a little difficult to get to since there are no signs right off the road. We relied on our GPS the first time.

I was traveling south and stopped in at the Red Roof Inn Knoxville East and found it to be a very pleasant experience. I had read the reviews and now question if these people reviewed this location by mistake. My room had a flat screen tv and the breakfast was far above an "average" continential breakfast. The room attendant was very pleasant and a good variety of food to choose from. My room ( standard king ) was spacious and comfortable. The desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The downside is that it is two floors and there is no elevator. This isn't an issue for me but thought it needed to be known. But over all it was a great stopping point and will stay here again if in the area.

Room Tip: If you have problems climbing steps ask for a downstairs room.

We found this property to be dirty, old furniture, many things needing repaired, inadequate lighting ....only one working light in the place. Made us feel that this could be a buggy place. I recall checking this out on the travel sites and ratings were high...must be bogus ratings. Would advise you to stay away from this motel, even though it's conveniently off the freeway.

The only good thing was a very pleasant and ready to please desk clerk. She was great!
