places for the children to play, and some of the paths are accessible for even an electric wheelchair. The nature center was both enjoyable and educational; great for kids, in particular

We were visiting Knoxville and thought we would take a walk. We did the Riverside walk. The paths are great. We even were passed by some runners. At one point you walk right along the river. It costs $1 for a map. Great place to get outside for fresh air and enjoy nature.

We were glad to find this park in Knoxville. After a visit Downtown we were so hot that we needed some cool breezes. We explored several trails and loved the 'wild' atmosphere. Their visitor center provides lots of useful information regarding the park and events going on all year around.

This is a great place for families, couples or ppl on their own to see and experience nature on foot or bike or even paddle board, canoe or kayak. There are lots of trails for all levels and trails for bikes as well. You can walk by the Tennessee river or in the forests and see lots of beautiful plants. You can also travel just down the road and go to the quarry area and hike the trails or rent a kayak, canoe or paddle board and play on the small quarry lake. Lots of fun for all ages. Would highly recommended.

Whether you are going to workout or go on a peaceful walk, Ijams is a nice place to explore. Although I've only been two or three times, I always learn something new about a trail or find a nice place to sit and reflect.
