“How can the best vegetarian restaurant in Knoxville be a Brazilian steakhouse?”
Reviewed 29 September 2013 via mobile

WOW! The answer is that Brazeiros has a "salad bar" that any veg-head will die for! All of the "side dishes" are gluten free (very important for the 1% of the country who is gluten insensitive and the 20% who obsess about it for unknown reasons)
But the meat............ Chicken, lamb chops, beef sirloin top and bottom, pork, ribs both pork and beef, filet, leg of lamb and more in a NO RUSH, GREAT SERVICE and very reasonably priced!

The service was just as great as the food! It was our anniversary and they treated us like family. We will go back!

“Least favorite place to dine”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

My (then) boyfriend took me here on a date a few yrs ago and needless to say I was not impressed therefore we have not been back since. Not a fan of the menu. Let's just say we have found better choices regarding a true dining experience. Sorry but this place was my "least" favorite out of all the much nicer places we've been. Not a fan :(

“Great food AND great service”
Reviewed 21 June 2013

Sure it's a tad on the pricey side. However it is worth every penny. My husband and I went on our anniversary. Every server was very professional. When our Server found out it was our anniversary they gave us a dessert to share on the house. Greatest tasting Meat ever!

“A less than Fugo de Chao”
Reviewed 20 June 2013 via mobile

We have always been impressed with Fugo de Chao. THIS IS A LOWER GRADE RIP OFF OF THAT ESTABLISHMENT.
Yes the prices are les than Fugo, but the offerings are meager in comparison. We were travelling to Atlanta and stopped off in lovely Knoxville for the nite. We wanted a fairly healthy dinner so a salad bar is what we aimed for. we stopped in at 6:15 and were warmly received. the place is a direct ripp off of Fugo. we asked if it was iwned by Fugo; the reply was: the owner used to work there. so we went to a nice table ordered a wine and a beer which were reasonably priced and good tasting. We then went to the salad bar and it was less than great. there was an offering of thinly sliced italian salami (deli quality), nice smoked salmon, nice cheese. There was not anywhere to be seen the advertised artichoke bottoms,. No bacon, no mushrooms, no seafood salad, nothing if any excitement.
Looking around, the waiters walked around with skewers with meager offerings of meat; not with the abundance and flare of Fugo de Chao.
The side were good: fried polenta, cartelized bananas, garlic mashed potatoes.
Overall an ok meal, high priced and was a much disappointing version of our much beloved Fugo.
Will not return to this fake.
ADIOS BRAZEIROS.
