“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay”
Reviewed 23 December 2013

This is really a nice hotel for the price. We were driving to Greenville, SC for the holidays and stopped in Knoxville overnight. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. Among the cleanest I have seen. The sleep quality was fantastic and the rooms were spacious and pleasant.

The breakfast was great. Waffles, toast, cereal, sausage, eggs and biscuits with gravy. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice.

Overall this was a great nights sleep with a decent breakfast to get us started the next day. Would definitely stay here again.

The price was great the room was nice and clean. Pool was extremely cold and hot tub way to hot. also the showers in the room it was either cold or scalding very small happy medium. Just want a little relaxing after a crazy day of travel. Staff was very friendly and good at there job. Breakfast could have been a lot better tasting.

This hotel provides extremely good value for the buck. It is nice rooms, large fridge, and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. It is an okay location for exploring Smoky Mountains National Park. The fitness room is poor - the only disappointing item that we experienced. Very good hotel to bring your dog.

This was a very nice clean and quiet place to stay. The morning provided breakfast was freshly made and well attended to by staff. Check in and check out was quick and accurate. We traveled with our two small poodle breed dogs. The quiet room was great, no barking, no neighbor noise without having to run the heater / ac fan all night.

We stopped after a long day of troublesome travel. Saw a familiar sign along the interstate and pulled in without TA knowledge or reservations. Front desk clerk was just what we needed in that she was both efficient and friendly. Got us a room and gave us some tips on where to eat.

The room was clean but the bathroom could have been cleaner. the bedding was typical La Quinta which is to say fairly good. TV had many channels to choose from and we did not try the internet.
The AC unit rattled incessantly which was troublesome so we finally shut it off. That would have been a problem in a different time of year

Breakfast had a better than average selection and everything was good.

Checkout was both friendly and efficient with a friendly and gracious clerk.

We have stayed in many La Quinta's out west and always been pleased. Not so much east of the Mississippi. This particular inn was a re-badged, refurbished Baymont ans was showing signs of wear. We may have to rethink our position on La Quintaas east of the Mississippi.

We spent one night at this hotel as we were traveling to PA. I chose this property because I recently discovered that La Quinta's are pet friendly, most with no additional fee.

I was pleased when we arrived. There are many options for dining, several within walking distance. The property grounds are very clean, with a nice area to walk the dog. There is plenty of parking for autos, as well as tractor trailers. Check-in was very easy, and we felt welcomed. While you can tell that this is not a new property, it's been updated & is pleasing to the eye.

Our room was a bit small, but comfortable. Smelled clean, with no pet or smoke odors. The furniture appeared to be fairly recently updated, beds were comfy, with soft sheets, & A/C worked well. Large desk area, with good lighting & several plug-ins. Shower/toilet area was very clean, with nice towels, 4 of each - wash cloths, hand towels & bath towels! Even had a spare roll of tp! Our room was relatively soundproof, as we heard no other dogs or guests going down the hall.

We only had coffee - didn't sample the breakfast fare, although it looked comparable to any continental breakfast offerings. Check-out was a breeze, and we were thanked for staying. On our way out, stumbling with overnight bags, coffee & dog (!), a kind lady from housekeeping held the side door open for us, and wished us a good day & safe travels. I was impressed with that!

When we have need to spend the night near Knoxville, I will definitely return here.
