We stopped at Puleo's on a trip from NC to Nashville, since it was close to get off and on I -40. This will be a regular stop on our trips this way from now on. The restaurant is super clean, including the rest rooms. The menu is quite varied, and we had a little trouble deciding. My husband is a soup fanatic and got the red and white bean chicken chili....he said it was outstanding , and the waitress said it had won first prize in a chili competition. I had a salad served in a perfectly chilled bowl..very fresh and crispy with house -made blue cheese dressing. For entrees, I chose a Margherita pizza, and my husband had chicken pot pie. Both were large, delicious portions. Some of the deserts looked tempting, but, alas, we'll have to try these on the next visit. Can't wait to return,
