This hotel is adjacent to the UT Knoxville campus and a great location for dining and visiting downtown Knoxville. The rooms are up to date and comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful with suggestions for dinner and getting Knoxville. I'd definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Great place to stay while visiting UT

Everything was new and clean. easy on/off access to I 75, downtown, and the university. Restaurant closes at 10.00pm, so bring something in or eat before arriving if you are coming in late. Breakfast starts at 6am and is a full service breakfast not included with the room. Parking is free in the parking garage. Staff is friendly and attentive. Bed linens and duvet were new, clean and fresh. Free WiFi and crisp red apples at the front desk.

The accommodations were good, but I was blown away by the service. Every staff member was competent, attentive, efficient and friendly. I have stayed at many many Starwood properties in the U.S. And abroad and have never seen it done this well.

We stayed here two years ago and came back for a return visit. The rooms are very clean and modern. Both rooms we had have great views towards downtown, and the other way. Reception is always very welcoming and they were very quick to help us when we asked for cutlery to enjoy a snack in our room and to reset our TV when the system had a little glitch. Parking is free and there is a large underground garage as well as a few spots out front. Its a short walk, approx 10-15 mins, into the main Market Square of Knoxville so a great location. We stayed in the SPG Preferred Guest rooms and they have large TV screens and a tub in the bathroom. Slightly preferred the room we had last visit as there was a small balcony, but to be honest it was too hot at 97C to really have enjoyed it this weekend.

Room Tip: The oversized corner rooms are pretty big and great if you like extra space. Some of them have small balconies too.

We've stayed here several times and also at other downtown hotels when we come to Knoxville. This is my favorite one, especially when coming to UT football games.
Our most recent trip was not game related and it was nice to get a much lower rate but it's worth the exta money on game day. The location is great and there is no need for a parking pass to the game as you are well within walking distance to Neyland stadium.
The beds are comfy and the air conditioning is amazing. The exercise room is very nice and the parking is convienent. The wireless internet is great as well as the TV. About the only knock I could give is that there is no fridge/microwave combo in the room. That would have been a nice addition for our leftovers from dinner that we had to throw out. Free parking would also be a plus but the charge is understandable due to the location.
