definitly the best place if you looking for the calm and a nice views..
Nice place with a very welcoming and generous owners..
Spent a few days with the family over there , was one of the best to never forget..
If we have a chance to go back to France we will for sure put the chateau in our schedule..

I loved your chateau - and both of you. You made my brief stay very enjoyable. Your gardens were also great with sweeping views.

Even though we had the language barrier (Aussie and Fench), I still tell people about the fun we had working through this.. That's life - having fun!! and you made that easy!

The dinner was fantastic as well as the impromptu birthday "apple".

I personally would reward you with 5 stars minimum - because I loved it complemented by the hosts Sylvie and Claude.

Chateau D'Urbilhac was memorable in every way. It stands in its own beautiful grounds, the rooms were very comfortable, and the service & cuisine by Madame Silvie was first class. Epatant!

Far from the standard and common hotels, this old house is full of charm. It is a great place for a romantic week end off season where there is not so many people (the hotel is open almost 12 months a year) and during summertime for family. Great view, nice swimming pool, fantastic atmosphere of an old French castle. Food is excellent, the owners are really able to make you comfortable and love their job as they love their house. Be aware it is not a conventional hotel: rooms may be cold in winter, it is an old house, you can hear your neighbors (so if you want a romantic hotel try to avoid peak season!). That said, again, it does worth the money and is offering something exceptional for not so much per night, for France. Try it !

We had a wonderful restful break at Chateau D'Urbilhac. Magnificent setting, lovely chateau, large swimming pool. The only drawback is no restaurant at the chateau, but there is a Michelin starred restaurant in nearby Lamastre which was excellent. Heartily recommend a stay here if you want beautiful countryside and a lovely place to stay.
