We stayed at the Scapaflow B&B in O'Briens Bridge on our family visit to Ireland. We had family in a nearby village so this was a great location for us to stay when visiting them.

The rooms were very nice & clean, had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and had lovely linens. The bathrooms were clean with lots of towels. The property is in a great location right in the heart of O'Briens bridge, we walked to the river each morning to feed the family of swans that were there every morning and looked at the lovely houses on the river. We also drove into the town of Killaloe and Limerick which were only a short drive away. We had our own jeep which we could park inside the gates of the property.

The hosts are incredible. Antoinette and Martin made us feel part of their family. The full Irish Breakfast (starting with Fruit, followed by Cereal and then a full Irish Breakfast including Homemade Soda Bread) was the perfect way to start the day and they even had Smoked Salmon as an alternative. Antoinette was always there ready when we were, amazing service. They were great with any questions we had regarding where we should visit and giving us the low down on all the local things to do and see.

We recommend ScapaFlow to everyone!!! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did

My wife & i stayed at Scapaflow for 2 weeks on a fishing holiday and would recomend Scapaflow to anyone looking for accomadation in this area. The breakfast was excellant and Antionette & Martin were very helpful. We have gained two friends & hope to go back again. For all fishermen Antionette will obtain your bait for you and keep it in the large bait fridge outside in the drying room.

This was a wonderful stay for our trip to the Limerick area to research family. Location is clean and comfortable. Hosts were very accomodating and helpful with things to do. Breakfast was excellent. I would recommend to anyone in the area needing an overnight stay. Only downside is you have to drive for dinner. No local restaunats within walking distance.

I have to work away from home a lot and have stayed in many B&Bs, but this is definitely one of the nicest in Ireland. I stayed with Antoinette and Patrick for 3 weeks so I can give a true review.
The rooms are very clean and well equipped. There are lots of little added touches to improve your stay.
The bathroom was spotless and the shower was always hot and powerful which is nice after a long day.
Breakfast is superb and a variation is always on offer. The full Irish is fantastic so I stuck with that rather than the healthier option that was also available. That said, my full Irish would not be the same every day, I was offered fried scrambled or omlette, and other elements would vary so it was a nice change.
My hosts were friendly and welcoming, always helpful and most accomodating to my needs and would recommend this B&B to anyone.
It is a good location too, being close to Limerick City and the attractions of County Clare and the River Shannon.

This is a truely wonderful b & b. House absolutely spotless and the welcome is genuine and warm. We arrived at about 7pm and Mrs Fitzgerald made us freshly brewed coffee and home made apple pie. The bedroom and bathroom was to hotel standard, the shower was excellent. In the morning we chose smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with homemade soda bread, delicious. There was melon and grapefruit (fresh) beautifully presented. Also cereals, yoghurt, toast and as much tea and coffee as you can drink. The final part of this review is to say I left my jaket behind by mistake and she posted it on to me the next day before receiving the cheque for postage. Cant rate it highly enough. Also a lovely walk along the Shannon just across the road if you have time. Would stop there again no question.

I had the pleasure of staying here recently, the rooms were very clean and well appointed, the breakfasts were just the thing to kick start the day before some great walks and sightseeing and the inevitable visit to the pubs! The proprietors were a real fun couple , shared many laughs with them. I would recommend this place to anyone , the setting is superb and all at a very reasonable price.
Will be back there again!

Lovely B&B, spotless, comfortable rooms, welcoming hostess & great breakfast. 30 minutes from Shannon airport through the back roads & near to the main road to Limerick for an easy getaway in the morning. Highly recommended.
