“Irish Country Hotel”

Don't expect chain standards but this hotel is clean comfortable and different. Dunmanway is an Irish country town and this hotel would originally have served the railway and commercial travellers. Don' t expect views but you will be in the middle of beautiful country and this will make an excellent base.
I was a single and for 45 euro per night B&b it would be hard to find better

If you don't mind windows that can't be closed, coffee and tea making facilities with no kettle and a tv without a controller then you will be happy enough here...as the evening food is really tasty and price is alright...however, I stayed the next night in Dungarvan for the same amount, and it was in every way, superior.

We were a group meeting up from England & various parts of Ireland for a reunion.
WE stayed from 1 - 3 march 2013. Rooms are basic but the hospitality & friendiliness of the staff during our stay was FIRST CLASS. We do were allowed to stay in our rooms until late in the afternoon as our flights were late.
The food was exceptionally & service for our food was very good.
We had a great time in the function room with the live band which that weekend was Nathan Carter.
Well done - we would find it extremely hard to find a hotel that could offer us the same so we have rebooked for later this year to meet up again.

We just spent the weekend at this hotel and thought that the staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We were with a dancing group and they allowed us to keep the rooms on the day we were leaving so we could get changed. The food was really good and the nicest staff that you could find. Well done Parkway Hotel

I wasn't sure what to expect as this was a last minute booking but delighted with my choice of hotel and town.Very affordable prices, basic but practical rooms that are comfortable and warm with good showers. The service was top notch and professional and the bar was really nice. One of the highlights of my weekend was the food.....absolutely delicious and I would almost travel the 250 miles from Dublin just to taste that Salmon and Prawn Tagliatelle mmmmmmmmm! Beautiful country town and I would recommend it for a weekend away to anyone

Stayed one night €70 b&b for 2 of us!
Ok stay Room dated, sheets on bed rather than duvet. Terrible view
Good power in shower and tv. Room cold but there was a plug in heater.
Bar is lovely but rooms in need of modernisation.. Expensive for standard!

My family and I went shopping in Dunmanway last Saturday and feeling a bit peckish we decided to go into the hotel for a meal. My husband and I had roast stuffed turkey and ham with a selection of vegetables and the others had roast lamb with mint sauce. The portions were very generous and served piping hot and we enjoyed our meal in front of a lovely open fire in the bar. We couldn't resist the temptation to try the delicious deserts which were on display and we weren't disappointed. To finish off, we had tea and coffee served by very efficient and friendly waiters. They even supplied a colouring book and pencils to keep my little grandaughter oppocupied while we enjoyed our meal. Thank you to the staff for making our day such an enjoyable and we will definitely be returning on a regular basis.
