My fiance and I were traveling from the Giant's causeway area to Donegal. It was rather late and we were tired. We had been trying to utilize the Rick Steve's book for site seeing, food, and lodging but we saw the property and it looked very nice so we stopped and inquired if there was a vacancy which there was. We had a good restful evening and the house was spotless plus Margaret ( the owner ) was so very nice and helpful to us. We were wondering where to visit the following day and she made a great suggestion that we acted on and were very impressed. The following morning I had the full Irish breakfast which was wonderful. All in all it was a great stay and I would return there in a heartbeat. Thanks for everything Margaret.

Room Tip: From what we could see any of the rooms would be great.

My wife and I were just passing through Ballybofey about the time we usually start looking for accommodations. As we started to leave town we spotted Rockvale House. We stayed one night and it was a very pleasant experience. Margaret was welcoming and helpful. It was an easy stroll back to the town center. Our room was clean and comfortable and, although the B&B is on the main road, very quiet. Breakfast was great. What more can I say?

Very friendly and welcoming, very clean and comfortable breakfast was plentiful and unlike some hotels nowadays where self service seems the order of the day, served with a smile. The B&B is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk to everything Ballybofey has to offer. Would certainly recommend it and return again.

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding in the Villa Rose. B&B was in a perfect location as the hotel was only 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was great & rooms were perfectly clean. Top class hospitality. Would definitely recommend it and stay again. Thank you.

Stayed in this b&b in early summer, was very lucky with beautiful weather! Great location - very close to nearby ballybofey and beautiful mountains/scenery out towards letterkenny . Very friendly b&b, family run, and received a genuinely warm welcome & great Irish breakfast! Would highly recommend it.

Had a fantastic stay in the Rockvale House B&B. We received a great welcome from the lady of the house upon arrival. Throughout the weekend, both she and her husband offered a lot of helpful info and advice and they really went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay in Ballybofey. Like the house, my room was bright, cheerful and immaculate, and in the morning we were served a big, hearty breakfast. The owners really made us feel so welcome and at home. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. We will definitely return when in Donegal again!
