This place is great. We came to Bunbeg for peace and quiet, and found it with the added bonus of stunning beaches and friendly craic. Rooms lovely, some with stunning views. Breakfast was incendiary, with the chance to look around the dining room which was an Irish history lesson in itself. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

It was a dreich, drizzly night when we arrived in Bunbeg but our welcome could not have been warmer. Although some people may think of the house's decor as dated, it gives the place a "homely" feel, and that combined with the hospitality makes it a special place to stay. I was initially a little disappointed in the bedroom's decor, but was won over by it's charm and comfort. Slept like a log. Breakfast in the morning was a treat. Perfect bacon, sausage and eggs (from the owner's own hens), toast done as it should be and I take my hat off to Mrs Campbell for serving everyone by herself, she was running about like a dervish - her legs were a blur! Great craic with both Mr & Mrs Campbell. Look forward to visiting again.

We stayed here while at a wedding in the area. this is quite a big bed and breakfast and the walls arer covered in photos of olden times and portraits of literary figures - all very interesting especially to visitors from abroad. We were met by the owner who was extremely friendly and offered us tea on arrival. We continued to the wedding and arrived back at some time after midnight -not quite sure when! . The room was clean, the shower worked and the bed was comfy - the cost very reasonable so what else is needed. We awoke in the morning to the sound of hens outside the window and had breakfast, consisting of the freshest, brightest, yellow eggs imaginable. Of course they were from Mrs Campbells hens ouside. Wow. Highly recommend this B&B and will stay again when in this lovely part of Ireland.

Myself and a number of other family members stayed here for a family wedding, and i have to say, it was a gem of place, the Hosts themselves were so friendly and nice, it was just a fantastic guest house to stay in, nothing was a problem, we came in, in the wee small hours to a welcome, the house was left open to everyone as a free for all to enjoy, they are lovely people and i could not speak more highly of any guest house i have ever stayed in, nothing was a problem for them, i would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting in the area, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed in this Bed and Breakfast in the middle of a round the world trip. We had heard so much about the warmth, and friendliness of the Irish people, and the stunning scenery that it had to offer. When we arrived at the Bed and Breakfast, we found these traits in abundance. The family that runs the Bed and Breakfast greeted us with a lovely fresh cup of Irish Tea, and some biscuits. Simple things that we were so glad of having been on a flight for 12 hours previously. We were so tired, but we spent about half an hour talking to the owners about our trip, and they couldn't have been any nicer, or more interested in what we had to say. We were then shown to our room, which was warm, comfortable, cozy, and had the most stunning views overlooking the Atlantic. We had seen some amazing scenery on our travels, but this rivalled anything we had seen in countries such as Canada, New Zealand, and China, and laterally South America. We were so glad of our beds when we arrived, and had a great sleep for about 12 hours. I believe the owners son was getting married that weekend, and we had heard Irish Weddings were often very grand occasions, so the fact that the owners were so helpful, and took the time out to chat to us was testament to them. On the day of the Wedding, we were served up with a fantastic Irish Breakfast. During our trip we met lots of Irish people, and each one of them described to us an Irish Breakfast, and that was what they missed most about home. It certainly lived up to it’s expectations. Served with warm, freshly baked Home made bread, and in a lovely spacious dining room. The dining room was like a trip through time of Irish History with fantastic pictures of local scenery, and the hardship that the people of Ireland have endured throughout the years. After our breakfast the owners left us to ourselves, and after pointing out some of the local area, and advising us of some of the places to see. A 20 minute drive or so, in either direction takes you to The Bloody Foreland, Errigal Mountain, and Dunlewey lake. These 3 places in particular were highlights of our stay. The scenery was jaw dropping, and if other reviewers took the time to explore these places, instead of being somewhat “pedantic”, and picking up on the “appalling”, “non existent”, and “sinister” town planning, then they may have enjoyed their stay a lot more. More locally, the Accommodation is ideally situated in the middle of Bunbeg. There are a range of lovely bars, restaurants, beaches, Golf courses, and some fantastic walks to the Harbour, all within close proximity. A couple of days into our stay, we were offered the chance to go kayaking in the Atlantic. The owners son took us down to the beach, and we explored around many of the bays from the sea, and visited some of the fantastic beaches. The climate is changeable in the Summer, and I guess it’s similar to that in the UK. We spent almost a week there, and we had 4 days of warm sunshine, and a couple of days where it was more cloudy. We have already planned another trip, and we will tour Ireland this time, but will be spending a few days again at Teac Campbells Guest House. I would certainly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone. If you are looking for a 5* Hotel, with a pool, Jacuzzi, gym etc then maybe look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a warm, friendly, clean traditional Irish Bed and Breakfast, with prices that are comparable to anywhere in the area, then Teac Campbell is the place to be.
