We truly enjoyed our experience at Dublin Falconry. Trevor is knowledgable and passionate about his raptors. The birds are well cared for and seem to enjoy interacting with visitors. The hawk walk is wonderful. Walking along a hill, looking down on the Irish countryside and looking at the Irish Sea in the distance, is wonderful. Add the company of a hawk, who flies into the trees and then back to your gloved hand, and the experience is awesome.

If you are an animal lover and enjoy the outdoors, a hawk walk is a must when you visit Dublin.

After spending 12 days in Scotland and Ireland (end of May/June 2014), this was our last stop. We were all a bit tired and weren't sure whether we should go ahead and do it. We were all so glad we did! Trevor was great with the birds and great with us; we had a fantastic experience. He even helped arrange our taxi from Dublin (that wound up being our ride to the airport the next day, too!). My two boys (15 and 17), my husband, and I can't say enough about it, and when anyone asks us about our trip, it is the first thing we talk about. Thanks so much to Trevor, Cookie, and all of the birds!

Can't possibly say enough about Dublin Falconry. Trevor was amazing and his knowledge and personal attention made this an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed every minute. We loved visiting Ireland but this was certainly our favorite part. Within minutes of being there, it felt like Trevor was a good friend. He made us feel so welcome. His passion and love for his birds was obvious. Trevor's knowledge about raptors seemed endless, we learned so much about each bird. If you are heading to Ireland, be sure to visit Dublin Falconry. It will be an amazing experience for you too!

The hawk walk was one of the most amazing experiences and one of my highlights in Dublin. The location was easy to get to and everyone was extremely friendly. It is worth every single euro and really is a must do if you have a chance. I loved that it was off the beaten path of what every tourist in Dublin does. Fantastic time and definitely is a story that you will be telling for years to come.

I booked this ahead of time via email from the US. My mom and I love raptors and wanted a falconry experience. Trevor was prompt with responses. We had questions on how to get to his location and available dates. You can take the train to Ballbriggan then taxi to the Courtlough Shooting Grounds. Or a bus to the entrance, then about a mile walk up the drive. Or taxi all the way. A taxi from Dublin city center is about €65.
The birds were stunningly smart and Trevor obviously has a passion for teaching others about them. He has different types of raptors (owls, falcons, hawks) but we took the Harris Hawk out for a walk. She followed us and came when called. She landed so softly on our gloves hands! It was amazing!!
It was incredibly easy to put a deposit down using PayPal online. Be sure to bring your remaining payment in cash.
Overall an amazing experience!!
