Description: Jaipur’s chic Southside restaurant offers rich tastes, smooth and unobtrusive service that delivers all the luxury of the evening you could expect. A real treat if you are in search of a really good Indian. There are all the usual favourites on offer like chicken Tikka Masala and Rogan Josh, but there’s also an eclectic selection of more unusual offerings which are definitely worth a try, like Chettinad Murgh, a chicken dish with a rich and spicy sauce, flavoured with black pepper, cloves, cinnamon and tamarind.

“One of the best Indian Restaurants in Dublin”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

Almost afraid to recommend this as it is so good. Decor is a bit drab (was an old-fashioned Indian not fully converted) and food is expensive (as pricey as Indian gets) but it is very very good. Like Ananda in Dundrum (which I think is a sister restaurant) but without the fuss / hyper contemporary feel. Just really good modern-style Indian.

“Twice bitten – Will not bite here again”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

Had a meal in the restaurant a year ago and it was not good. Decided to have a take away and give it another go.
The food in general was bland. Some dishes tasted sour. We asked for an extra hot Jalfrezi and there no spice to it at all.

“Excellent indian restaurant in Dalkey.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

We went on a quiet evening , a Monday, and had two excellent main dishes, Tandoori and Methi Murgh together with 4 Cobra beers.
If you add two naan and one rice the bill came close to 80 € tip included.

“An excellent choice in this select suburb.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2014

We didn't help the restaurant by arriving a little late for our early evening booking on a Friday, then having to wait for someone whose flight had arrived late, but nothing flustered the very helpful staff. The meal was extremely good, we all enjoyed it. I can't comment on value as someone else kindly paid, but was glad to have adventured out from Dublin (31 minutes on the DART and close to Dalkey station) to have eaten here.

“Nice Indian food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014 via mobile

I got a vegetarian thaili dish with saffron rice and peshwari naan bread. I liked sampling the saag paneer, mushroom/pea curry, Dahl, and potato cubes and a potato cake. Altogether my main course was 26euro. Others got an early bird 2 course menu, starter and main for around 19 euro.

The service was very pleasant and the food was very tasty and pretty much the most authentic type of Indian food I've ever had in Ireland. I would recommend this restaurant. It's good value and tasty.
