“Irish Dance competition June 2014”

Great place to bring a group. We are from PA, USA and found this hotel easy to find with our outdtaed GPS. Great breakfast too. Bar is small but drinks are cold and quick. The rooms used for the competition were gigantic with plenty of seats and room for the girls to get ready.
Also, Dominos Pizza delivers late.

Room Tip: Be sure you know which wing your room is in. This is a big place. Some elevators do not connect to a...

Nice Hotel with good rooms and conference facilities, golf course and separate chinese restaurent as well as a lovely large foyer with masses of seating and good bars. Really good private site you would not know you were on the edge of a large city BUT the rooms we had on the good floor were so far away you never went back to them throughout the day. This hotel on its 2 sites is suppose to have over 1400 rooms why were we and all our party shoved right away at the back at least 3 full corridors from the main area when it wasn't that busy . Longest walk (by far) I have ever had to get to my room.

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to reception they have enough of them.

Massive hotel, be prepared for a long walk to your room! Friendlyish staff at check in. NO WI-FI in rooms only in public areas, hard to believe in 2014! Room was excellent, spacious, clean with shower over bath. Voucher for evening meal is not suitable for all bill back clients...be careful if on business, although bar manager very helpful! Breakfast very good. Disappointing stay.

Dear Guest,

Thank you so much for your review, customer feedback is so very important and I take on board all the issues you have mentioned.

WIFI in the rooms is something we hope to introduce in the very near future. We do have several dining options available for business customers and hope that if you are considering returning to Citywest Hotel that you would try a different option.

I would be delighted to personally look after any future you bookings you may have. Please feel free to contact me directly.

Recently visited and stayed in city west with work. Facilities during the day were fantastic and the staff were wonderful . Everything from start to finish ran smoothly and the food was very nice . I would recommend this hotel to any company looking for a place to hold a work meeting /conference . Stayed that night and found the rooms very comfortable and the breakfast was great.

I stayed at the city west as it was close to where I had meetings
The hotel is a few miles outside Dublin city centre but it is easy to use public transport tram into centre

This is a large hotel some 700 rooms in a traditional style the rooms a spacious and spotlessly clean

The staff were friendly and efficient the hotel has two restaurants and a fantastic golf course with hotel guests only paying €15 a round

I would certainly recommend this hotel not only for business but also for pleasure

We stayed 2 nights at Citywest and the staff were all very nice. Rooms were about average - comfortable but a little dated. It was quite a train ride from Dublin, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are planning on spending a lot of time in the city. Breakfast was very good.

After a disappointing visit to Citywest last year we again stayed there for an event and what a difference. Although we arrived early and our room was not yet available the staff on reception were very helpful and pleasant, made us very welcome and provided us with vouchers for breakfast while we waited. The breakfast is buffet style with you chosing what you want. All was cooked to perfection.
Once the room was ready, the reception telephoned me to let me know as we were able to use the other facilities of the hotel. We had an Executive Suite and what a surprise, the room was huge with a living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, was very clean and the beds extremely comfortable.
The bar area (which we used quite a bit) is quite small for the size of the hotel & on a night can be difficult to get seats if the hotel is busy however the staff are brilliant and try to serve you as quick as possible.
We had food in the restaurant which was brilliant, my wife commented that the cost of the stay was worth it just to taste the fantastic Salmon and Lemon Sole dish.
The hotel is run efficiently, as are the leisure facilities with the staff all ready to help. If you stay here, do also try the Lemongrass Restaurant which serves Asian food and is very good.
I would definitely recommend staying at the Citywest and if its within your budget its worth having an Executive room.

Room Tip: Executive rooms are worth paying the extra for. A lot of rooms are a long walk from reception so if...
