Myself and hubby revisited this wonderful B&B last night, we booked for the early bird menu and Terry the owner greeted us and showed us to our room. We dined at 8pm ( no problem with slight change to time as the restaurant was quiet) Once again we were treated to the most kindest and warmest of service by Terry who takes great pride in his cooking. The food was amazing from the bread to the starters and as for the main course...woh... we made room for the dessert....another excellent course.....we will be back again this year with friends. Our breakfast was freshly cooked and we had a lovely relaxing chat with Terry on his patio before we left. Its like visiting a good friend...

Had dinner with my wife Sat.Have been before but there's something lacking or missing since our last meal there. No Maître D just one member staff to greet, seat take order and serve and clean up!!I would think for the prices charged more staff??Tables bare, think used be white tablecloths ?? If charging high the rest should follow. Food very good but no sorbet. We found it a strange funeral like atmosphere too. Your taking your eye off the ball Terry.Wouldnt be in a hurry back .

Seriously good food and if you're a seafood lover like myself well then you're in heaven. We normally go on Sundays as they have a special menu which includes starters, main courses, desserts and tea/coffee. The only criticism is the price, even on the set menu there's a supplement charge for nearly everything, but if you appreciate good seafood its worth the visit.

Was recently in the Redbank for dinner with my wife. Great food but the decor badly needs updating. The chairs and table are uneven and the carpet needs updating. The restaurant serves great food but the restaurant requires an urgent refurb.

I was at The Red Bank restaurant recently and was sorely disappointed. We had booked in advance but the staffing arrangements were atrocious. 2 floor staff to serve & clear an entire floor of tables resulted in our waiting 1 hour for a menu and a further 45 mins. to be served our starter.
In the end I had to go and ask for the desert menu as the staff seemed to forget about us completely.
While the food was excellent (with the exception of the deserts which were mediocre), the experience was ruined by the senseless delays.
It feels like this restaurant is trading on its good name from the past but dining there in the present could not be recommended. I will not return.
