“Fell in Love”

I have never stayed in a place with so much warmth and charm as well as excellent food and breath taking views. I arrived back home today from my trip and we are already checking dates to return. The lobster lunch was a sumptuous feast and the breakfasts were heavenly. Nothing was too much trouble for Joe, Jackie and Jess and we were made to feel a valued friend (or part of the family) as soon as we arrived. The setting is stunning and we can't wait to come back. Thank you so much for everything you did for us.

couldnt believe how lucky we were to have been guests at Whitecottages, Joe and Jackie,Jess were sensational my daughter Emma and I felt completely at home...the breakfast was to die for Ms Nolan's salmon from Cork!the atmosphere and the talk and the view was to die for... our room was comfortable with a view to calm the nerves before a flight home...Skerries is absolutely beautiful and White Cottages takes it to another level, thank you Joe/Jackie and Jess for making our time with you so wonderful........annie from oz

We were lucky enough to have breakfast available to us even though we weren't actually guests. The culinary delights from the kitchen in addition to the awesome customer service added to the enjoyment of our fabulous stay in Skerries. Joe, Jessice & Jackie run a wonderful b & b in a locality that can't be beaten. We were so impressed that we booked our last night there after a week traveling up North. It was like coming home. Thanks guys we certainly will be back.

We were looking for a place near the airport for our final two nights. We wanted to do some final sightseeing (Newgrange and Hill of Tara) and wanted a place that while near the airport had some charm and ambiance. White Cottages was the perfect place. We had the Harbor Master room. I don't think it is possible to have a nicer view. The decor was charming. Joe went out of his way for us and we were appreciative.
For those going this summer, you may want to enjoy tea on the terrace. The owners' daughter, Jess, is doing a tea in the afternoons. Though we were not able to plan to be there for it, it appeared to be lovely and she seemed to enjoy making everything just perfect. She does need advance notice, so try to include this in your day.
So pleasant to sit on the terrace or in the room and watch the beautiful scene right in front of you.

Just got back from a 3 night stay here in the Harbour Master room and had a great time! What a view!! Couldn't have asked for more friendly hosts (Jackie and Joe). The room was in excellent condition and very tastefully decorated. It had everything you need at your disposal for a great stay. The accommodation is perfectly placed around 20 mins drive from Dublin Airport and city centre and is sat right on the coast - and I mean RIGHT on the coast! Even caught a quick glimpse of a seal while having breakfast!

Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Dublin as long as you don't mind a little drive (We hired a car but the train station has regular trains into the city centre also). A big thank you to Jackie and Joe for your hospitality - we shall certainly return soon!!!

My husband and I with two of our friends just returned from Ireland over the weekend. We ended our trip in Skerries at the White Cottages prior to flying out of Dublin. We had a very hectic scheduled the week prior at the Isle of Man TT races and wanted to end our holiday in a relaxing area near the sea. The breakfast was wonderful, Joe and Jackie were very nice and welcoming, the LOBSTER LUNCH is devine.. Treat yourself to a stay here, you won't be sorry. There is absolutely NOTHING I would change about our stay here. Simply perfect! Many thanks to Jackie and Joe for having us.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Superior room I believe it was called the Harbour; it was facing the Irish Sea. Pe...

What a fabulous place ! The kindness and thoughtfulness shown by Joe and Jackie to my father and me were just fantastic. The quality of the rooms are excellent (lovely en suites too) with everything thought of, even down to a pair of binoculars to be able to see the view across the sea, the sea that is less than 5m away! Breakfast was exactly what I wanted, and the atmosphere was relaxed and charming. I would thoroughly recommend The White Cottages and the location - thank you Joe and Jackie for a great time! Gill and Tom B

Room Tip: We had two rooms, both of them were just great !
