The cottages is a small boutique style B & B run by two of the best hosts you could ever meet - Joe and Jackie. They just can't do enough for you. Their approach is very relaxed and understated but incredibly attentive. They have around 6 rooms, most with incredible sea views. We stayed in two separate rooms during a 9 day stay: The Captains Room and The Harbour Master. Both are beautifully appointed in nautical themes in keeping with the majestic views of the islands and Irish sea right outside. There is no road between the cottages and the sea. The Harbour Master room is magnificent. Breakfast is lovely and they also do delightful afternoon teas. Joe is a wealth of info on places to go; eat; drink. Truly memorable experience.

This place is absolutey fantastic. We were visiting family for the Easter weekend and my partner booked us and my parents in here. This place is right on the waters edge and you look out onto the Irish sea and the harbour. From the start we were made to feel at home and Joe & Jackie couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was out of this world and you never came out feeling hungry I can assure you. Didn't get the chance to sample the afternoon tea or the lobster lunch but rest assured we will be back for another visit. Thank you both for a truly wonderful stay it just made our weekend perfect.

Room Tip: If you want a sea view or direct access to the veranda, make sure you let them know.

This is an excellent Bed&Breakfast, spent two nights here. The owners are so kind and enjoyed talking with Joe. Breakfast choices are excellent and the food is excellent. Excellent view of the Irish Sea, looking to the east is the harbor, looking to the north are the Mourn Mountains. Parking is on the street. Only 5 minutes to Ardgillian Castle, a must see, hope you get David, he was an outstanding tour guide. About 10 minutes away is the Skerrie Mill and a really interesting tour. Only about 20 minutes to Dublin Airport. This is a great Irish town.

Room Tip: You can hear the sea no matter which room your in, it's really peaceful here.

We stayed at The White Cottages over the Easter weekend for 5 nights and what a find... OK were were blessed with the best of the Irish weather, but even if the rain were pelting down Joe and Jackie have a simply stunning location for their B&B. Besides the location right on the shoreline, the cottage(s) are beautifully presented, well maintained and very clean. Our room had a fantastic view right across the sea and North Beach to Skerries Harbour. The breakfasts carefully and cheerfully provided by Joe were delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We were only sorry we were too busy to sample the Lobster Lunch and the Afternoon teas - which we are reliably informed by locals live up to the excellent reputation of this establishment.

I can wholeheartedly recommend The White Cottages - seriously guys, put a visit to this place on your bucket list!

We had afternoon tea in the White Cottages overlooking Skeries beach and Harbour. Wonderful sandwiches and cakes.

We were made to feel right at home and while it was too cold to eat outside, we still had the great view through the window and we went onto the patio for a short while to enjoy the view more closely.

Top Marks!!!

We spent two nights and enjoyed each completely. Joe is personable, a wonderful host, and makes a great breakfast. The location is fabulous with the tide coming right to the property, and the room we stayed in (Harbour Master) was comfortable. We truly enjoyed ourselvesand highly recommend.

The place is beautiful, nicest place I have ever stayed from anywhere around the world. Breakfast was gorgeous, owners extremely helpful and friendly, dog wasn't bad either. Will be back to this place in the future. Recommend the harbour master room, really romantic.

Room Tip: Have dinner in the local brickhouse while your here
