Skerries and the White Cottages are a great place to spend your first day and night when arriving in Dublin after and overnight flight from the US.

The B&B is just a short drive from the airport and provides a brief warm up for driving on the wrong side of the road.

We had a nice size room facing the ocean. A couple of the rooms are very small so be aware of this when booking.

The hosts were very friendly and informative and the
breakfast was very good. My wife rated the breakfast the best on the two week trip and I had it second best only to the breakfast at The Lodge at Ashmont Castle.

Room tip: Some rooms are small so make sure you know which room you are booking.

If you get chance to stay in this quaint little cottage, it will be the best thing you'll ever do! From arriving to leaving the b&b the service that you get is just impeccable!! The rooms are decorated to suit the scenery and the breakfast the next morning is just delicious! You'll even get to try joe's white pudding that he gets specially from Ardee-delicious! It's my second time there and we were even late to breakfast the second morning which didn't seem to be any trouble. Both stays have been amazing and I can't wait to stay again! It's a little piece of heaven 😊

My husband and I and 2 grown up children enjoyed our stay at the the White cottages for 2 nights. It had everything that we wished for. Beautiful rooms with great sea views, everything clean and welcoming. Joe was such a lovely host and we enjoyed the chat and the delicious breakfasts. We just wished that we could have stayed longer. However, we will definitively be back!! (Joe, thanks for the recipe for the Barn Brack it was delicious!)

We love this place. We landed in Dublin and it is a short drive from the airport. The room we had has a large picture window overlooking the water. The owners are delightful and very helpful with recommendations for dinner, hiking and sightseeing. Joe does a great breakfast.

Room tip: harbour master room has a great view

We only stayed one night at the White Cottages, but it was the highlight of the trip to Ireland. The cottage is seaside with beautiful views from the terrace. The hosts were excellent and go out of their way to make sure you get to experience the charm of the B&B (served a delicious breakfast in the morning) and the village itself. The cottage is also well maintained and everything was very clean/comfy. Absolutely loved this place!
