This was our favorite B&B on our two week trip around Ireland. We stayed our last night here instead of in Dublin as this is a short (and easy) drive to the airport.
The house is constructed perfectly for a B&B with a separate half for guest rooms and a common guest area. We stayed in a beautiful room overlooking the bay with glass french doors opening to the huge shared balcony. The owners were ready with town maps and recommendations. It is about a mile level walk to town, either along the beach or road. We came back from dinner to a fire in the fireplace...so thoughtful! There was only one other couple staying that night, and we spent the night playing cards with them in the guest common area (so tastefully decorated! did I mention that yet?). Breakfast was pleasant, definitely the freshest and healthiest on our trip. After we settled our bill, the owners gave us a handwritten thank you note with a couple of chocolates from a local vendor. If I can make it back to Ireland I will definitely stay here.More
