The stay was so splendid I decided to extend my stay. Within a 2-minute walk from the ferry dock I was greeted friendly upon arrival. Rooms were of best standard and very clean. Fresh air and very quiet at night time. Extra service such as towels and power converters for free. The staff went out of their way to make it a good experience. I got to borrow a fishing rod and was adviced the best fishing spot on the island. The fish I got was was grilled fresh on the barbecue and feasted upon in a joint ad-hoc dinner with staff and co-guests. Most of the staff are on a short-term stay voluntary basis, and the ones staying there on my visit had done this on many occasions and were both knowledgable and enthusiastic about the many treats this place has to offer. They will make sure you get a great stay!

Stayed in Kilronan Apartments for 2 nights and had a briliant stay. The apartments are approx 5 minute walk from the Hostel and within walking distance of pubs and shop. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. Kept in very good condition and very peaceful. Rent a bike for the day for €10 and go travel the island its well worth it. Really enjoyed my time in Inis Mor and will definitely return for longer.

Ten of us stayed in Kilronan Hostel last weekend on a girly get away. The hostel is about a 3 minute walk when you get off the boat. We were given two dorms overhead the kitchen, which is a separate building to where the other rooms are, and this was great as we didn't need to worry about making noise and disturbing other guests.

Our rooms were very basic, but the hostel was very reasonably priced. The kitchen area appeared to be clean and tidy, but we only used to the fridge.

The staff we met were very friendly and helpful, and gave us all the information we needed to get the most out of our stay on the island.

There is a pub right beside the hostel and has plenty of outdoor sitting which allows you to enjoy the sea view whilst relaxing with a drink.

Supermacs and the bike rental shop is also beside it, and the Spar supermarket is less than a 1 minute walk away.

I would have no problem staying here again if I went away with a group.

ONE PIECE OF ADVICE THOUGH: Bring your own towels!!!! We were told towels were supplied, so we didn't pack any. The towels the hostel provide are hand towels, not bath towels.

The hostel is easy to find as it is in close approximity to the pier. The stuff was more than friendly and our room was small but ok.
Big minus were our mattrassess as they were covered in plastic - so we had no other choice than being horribly sweaty oder cold over night. Additionally the hostel is quite clairaudient - a bunch of girls made it nearly impossible to sleep that night...
Breakfast is ok - but nothing special.
Bathroom was quite small, but clean.
