Very close to the town centre but still beautifully located in the characteristic bay from where you can easily start some trekking in the south part of the island.
We found the room very cozy and clean, equipped with all the amenities. Wonderful breakfast is served in the dining room conservatory facing the sea shore. Tea coffee and delicious biscuits are never missing when you come back from the windy weather.
The atmosphere is welcoming and the hospitality of the family is exceptional.
And don’t worry about discovering the island or going for a pint and good music, Joe will be there to give you a lift and show you around.

Absolutely fabulous! My family and I were stuck without proper accommodations until we lucked into Joe Gill's taxi and he informed us they had a last minute cancelation- due to poor weather we ended up staying on Inishmor for three days and they were absolutely wonderful partly due to the kindness and hospitality of the Gill family! Noirin was a perfect hostess that provided more than enough tea to fight the bad weather and a great breakfast made to order each morning as well as provide any information or tips that she could and Joe was great for a lift, a tour, or to explain the collection of trophies tucked in every nook of the home! The whole family is incredibly charming and we look forward to seeing them as much as the island when we return in July!

While the house was one of the very best in which we stayed, Noirin didn't seem at all interested in having us there. She was kind enough to send her husband to pick us up from the ferry, but didn't tell us, so we thought that he was just another van driver trying to earn a fare, so we walked in the rain. While she wasn't rude, I felt as though I was imposing. Again, the room was wonderful, clean, and the cooking was good. Perhaps we caught the family at a bad time.

My co-worker asked me if she could join me on my trip to Ireland. She was enchanted with going to Inishmor. I had a stay in 2006 with Noirin and it was the bes. I searched for her B& B and made a reservation. Because we wanted to see Galway City we had to take the 6:30 ferry. Noirin went out of her way to pick us up and take us to a restaurant. She later came to take us to the B&B. We forgot we did not have a wine opener with us and had to dist rube her. She could not have been more gracious and gave us one of her wine openers. The accommodations where lovely. We sleep very well. We woke to a most lovely breakfast. Noirin also arranged a guide for us to see the Island. Noirin is not very far from the port. Actually since I'm a jogger, she could have been further from port for me. But she is just close enough to have a nice walk in to enjoy a nice lunch in the village. Breakfast was a true Irish breakfast. We met very nice people; possible because of her Irish charm she attracts interesting guests. We spend a most lovely, and educational time with a Japanese family. I plan to spend all my time at Cill Ronain when on Inishmor.

short bike ride from center of town, good location, quiet and peaceful- breakfast was no frills but adequate for us, we are glad we spent the night on Inishmore because we had a chance to do more exploring than we ever could have if we only came on the day ferry, this is a great location for seeing much of the island by bike- hiking to the black fort was incredible, we were the only people there for the morning- host of the B&B was nice but a bit indifferent to us, friendly enough - they request that you wire a deposit which was a hassle and did not go thru for us correctly, no big deal but a bit of a hassle- room and shower were very comfortable

We stayed overnight with Noirin and her family this past weekend. The house is in a beautiful location facing the bay on Inis Mor, it was clean, bright and airy. We were offered (and we accepted) tea or coffee on arrival and lots of homemade brown bread - excellent. This family couldn't do enough for us and we had plenty to eat. Very easygoing house and welcoming. Thank you Clann Ui Ghoill!!!!

I cannot recommend this highly enough! I visit the aran islands every year and have to say that it is indeed my favourite place to stay on Inish Mor. Great hospitality, conversation, food and an incredibly comfortable stay and by far the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in, thats for sure!
