The Inishbofin island welcome, embraces all the visitors to Ireland's western isle, a warm Failte welcome, always present there from the moment you step on board the modern ferry until you depart.
The Doonmore Hotel was again our stay for a family holiday visit, a week's visit to again enjoy the Murray family traditional hospitality, great food and good accomodation and wonderful Inishbofin atmosphere.
Our visiting family group of twenty plus, spaning 3 generations, who all enjoyed their island visit and had great Inishbofin holiday, they experienced the great welcome and wonderful accomodation in the Inishbofin Hostel, the lovely Emerald Cottage, the Inishbofin Hotel.
The good pub fare and traditional music in Murrays and Day's and the weekly Music Night in the Dolphin Inn provided great evening entertainment.
Family members enjoyed great scenic walking routes, well promoted with good sinage and illistrated walking maps.
Swiming, horse trecking, walking, cycling and boating were the popular sports for the younger members of our visiting clan.
Inishbofin is fortunate to have ambassodors like Andrew Murray at the Doonmore, Ciaran Day at the Hostel and the ladies at the community centre to lead this great Inishbofin island of the welcomes. We will all be back again next year.
Regards and many thanks.

- Murrays' Doonmore Hotel, the most westerly island hotel in Ireland, was built in 1969 and has been owned and managed by the Murray family ever since. We pride ourselves on our hands on approach to customer service so you will be dealing with a member of the family at most stages of your stay. Our friendly staff are superbly trained and they know that our raison d'etre is to ensure that every customer, from a child ordering a hot chocolate to a group of adults staying for a week, deserves only the best service possible. Our hotel and bar food is famous for its freshly caught seafood and its consistently high quality and value for money. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and warm. The atmosphere is welcoming, homely and relaxed. It is no accident that we have a large percentage of repeat business stretching back to the early days.
