We enjoyed everything about the Baywatch B&B. Tony is a great host. He is friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. He is a chef in the wonderful local pub/restaurant and breakfasts are a gourmet treat. We even had fresh wild Atlantic Salmon for breakfast 2 of our 3 days there as it was salmon season. The B&B is the family home and is very comfortable. We were welcomed by coffee/tea and cookies. We had a big room on the second with a view out to the ocean. It's a easy drive to anywhere in Connemara from Tully Cross, which, though it is quite small, has 2 good restaurants and a couple of fine pubs. Most people seem to stay one night as a stop-over, but we found it a great place to stay for 3 nights and really enjoy the wild-west of Ireland.

Room Tip: A room on the second floor facing the sea.

BAYWATCH BED AND BREAKFAST, lovely accommodation - excellent service - great breakfast - reasonable price - just a couple of steps from the hub of village life in Tully Cross. Breathtaking views from the breakfast table. Tony's breakfasts were amazing and served in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was at a time of our choosing. The rooms were large, spacious and clean. Tony and Geraldine and of course Patch were all extremely friendly and generous hosts. Located close to the Connemara National Park and a stones throw from Kylemore Abbey it is definitely one of the better places we have been. We stayed for 4 wonderfully quiet and peaceful nights and look forward to returning again. Tony is in the throes of compiling a book on local walks and we look forward to seeing it published. PS he likes chocolate.

I was here in Connemara on a scuba diving trip and stayed here last night with my partner.
House is impeccable with stunning views of the Connemara hills. Rooms are spacious with everything you need. Breakfast was superb -a great selection of fresh fruit - breads and cheese to start followed by my freshly made omelette. Tony is a true gent and a pleasure to deal with !!
We will be back no doubt.

I travelled to Tullycross for a wedding reception from Spain After reading the reviews we decided to book into Baywatch- boy did we do the right thing. On arrival Tony (and Patch) met us with a kind offer of tea/food - nothing was too much trouble-including a breakfast at a time that suited our arrangements (and late reception)
The breakfast was to die for, porridge-well being a Scotsman i do not say this lightly-it was the best ever. The variety on the table was top class and the fry up was excellent
The friendliness of Tony and his family beamed throughout the whole 2 night stay- cannot wait to re-visit and cannot recommend this enough to anyone Brian/Ruth

Room Tip: Tony will give you a room that suites your party

Myself and my brother stayed at the Baywatch B&B, Tullycross for one night recently, and I must say it was a very pleasant visit. It wasn't part of our overall plan, but it couldn't have worked out any better. We both had planned to go camping near Renvyle the evening before an activity race in nearby Leenane. We were all set with our camping gear etc, however the weather had other ideas. Gusty winds, rain & poor light meant we needed a plan B. It was nearing 10pm and there didn't look like there would be many options.
Thankfully we managed to get in contact with Baywatch B&B in Tullycross. The owner Tony was very accommodating to us, even at such short notice. He had only one double room left and very kindly rearranged it into a twin room. While he was doing this we received a very welcome complimentary cuppa in front of the fire in the living room. Much needed at the time as we were nicely soaked from a recent shower and needed to dry ourselves.
The room itself was excellent and comfy. And as for the breakfast the following morning...It was easily the best breakfast I've ever had in any hotel or B&B. (perfect for fuelling up before the big race). We started the race bone dry, nicely rested and with full stomachs, (can't say we finished in the same state...)
Overall I highly recommend the Baywatch B&B. Excellent hospitality, great location & top notch food. p.s. this is my first ever online review of anything....yes it was that good.

have just come back from a fabulous trip around connermara and this was the best b&b we stayed at. Tony and Geraldine are the perfect hosts that make you feel at home instantly with their open fire and tea and cake each teatime. So good we have booked to go back next year!
