we stayed in this b&b in the middle of our vacations in Ireland an it was one of the best places we have used, not on the main road (no noise), good room, hospitality and friendly owners. Kinvara is in walking distance. recommend for families, couples, solo.

We stayed in Kinvara on our first night in Ireland. A little hard to find because our GPS acted up but it is essentially a turn in front of Dunguaire castle. Majella was VERY helpful in giving suggestions for our next day. We were not planning on going to the Aillwee caves but were glad she suggested this to us. It was actually one of the nicer caves we visited in Ireland. We arrived early in the day, before we had intended, but her husband was there to get us settled in and he was very friendly. We then went to Galway city, which was very close. It was nice to stay outside the city, which made getting to Doolin and the Cliffs convenient. She made a wonderful breakfast for us that was the best traditional breakfast we had in Ireland. Her son was adorable and very helpful in bringing us water one evening. The room was clean and a good size. The beds were a little on the firm side but we liked that. The only room for improvement would be larger bathroom towels, which is very picky, I know. They were standard size but we like the bigger bath sheets. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would stay here again.

we stayed at this bed and breakfast last year while travelling through ireland and had a great time there. majella was a fantastic hostess. the house was beautiful and spotless, as was our room. great common area, and breakfast was wonderful. even though it's not in the center of town we were still able to walk to dunguaire castle and the shops and pubs for the evening. we will definitely stay there again on our next trip to kinvara!

It is very easy to find although it isn´t situated in the "city center", still you can get there very fast and it is even walkable within 15 Minutes.
The rooms are great, clean and very spacious, the same for the bathrooms. I actually loved the beds the most they where big and cozy, just like at home. The only thing, we actually just noticed it the next morning, that my room was colder than the other one of my friend and we did not find a possibility to turn the heater on but this should be solved very quick on asking the owner.
We even had a fridge and a microwave in one room which was very handy when preparing a quick dinner!
The breakfast in the was grand, it tasted delicious and was a lot to eat.
So all in all for the money we paid it was actually far too good and I would always recommend this place if you ever go to this town!

Majella is a very nice hostess we were happy to meet. She makes a good breakfast, and gives some interesting tips about the surroundings. Her two-year-old son Ross is also contributing to a homy experience.

Aira Lodge is beautifully located just outside Kinvara, and is very quiet and pastoral. It is definitely a very good option to consider in the area.

Stayed here recently and really enjoyed our stay. Reasonable prices. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Nice new modern house. Breakfast was a welcome feast in the morning. An added bonus the wifi was free.
