Experience began at reception wit friendly welcome. Room bright and clean, bathroom very small but has everything one needs. May not be suitable for larger people. Comfortable bed. Great choice at breakfast. Excellent value overall. Will definitely stay again.

Highly recommend this superb guesthouse in Kinvara to ensure you experience the warm welcome that County Clare offers visitors. Fabulous views, food and service, friendly local staff and high quality bedrooms and dining room means you'll feel like you're truly on holiday. Personally I had the experience of the generosity of the owners, when I left my diary, jewellery and keys behind in my room - they posted them up at cost to themselves and refused to charge me for it. The guesthouse is so well located, literally around the corner from the main shop and a stone's throw from great restaurants and pubs and walks. This is much more like a boutique hotel than a b&b so book it if you can, it's the best value you'll find with genuinely caring and hospitable owners and staff. Enjoy!

Lovely stay. We usually try to stay in the smaller family run bnb's but opted for kinvara guesthouse and no regrets. Staff at reception and breakfast room could not have been friendlier. Breakfast and standard of room excellent. Will b back again

My husband and I stayed here on the final leg of our tour of Southern Ireland after reading good reports.

This is one of the cleanest guest houses that we have stayed in and it was clearly designed to ensure effective cleaning ie modern and un fussy rooms without dodgy stained carpets. Soft furnishings were of good quality and basic toiletries were provided. Our room overlooked the car park behind the supermarket which was floodlit but this did not effect us as the curtains were thick. However a voile or blind at the windows would have enabled us to have both privacy and daylight after showering and whilst changing. Also, the bathroom had a shaving light over the mirror but the cord was missing and as the mirror was so high, unless you were very tall, you could not reach it.

Breakfast was pleasant with 3 fresh fruit choices, yoghurt, breads and cooked options and the staff worked hard to ensure that everyone was served efficiently.

Parking was easy and we didn't feel that we were above a block of shops. The village has several options for food although we felt that most of the menus were similar. We opted to to across the road to the Fisherman's Restaurant (back end of the pub). We were welcomed and enjoyed our meal although it was nothing special. The Pier Head was recommended and this is owned by the brother of the owner of the guest house apparently.

Kinvara is a lovely village with a few thatched houses and is ideally placed for hill and coastal walks as well as being close to Galway.

Well worth considering if you are looking for a base to explore the area.

Stayed for one night in this beautiful guesthouse. It is hotel standard, beautiful bright and spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast in the morning, great selection and beautiful fresh cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone. Great value too.

Too bad we've only spent 1 night. The guesthouse is brand new and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to shops and pubs. Kinvara is charming. Parking is easy. Full Irish breakfast amazing. It was a great stay and would definitely come back.

This was one of the best places we stayed on our 7 day trip. It is clean, modern, and a good value. The bedding was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Check in was fast and easy and the hostess very friendly. It was great to be located so close to the grocery store which is just downstairs. Unfortunately, we had to leave quite early and didn't get to have breakfast there.
