Our stay at Clareview was a real treat. Our hostess was warm, friendly and extremely helpful. She was always available with suggestions and help.

We had a big problem with our rental car and had to unexpectedly exchange it for another at Shannon airport. This meant we had to seriously rearrange our plans for the day. Brenda made suggestions on sights to see and as it turned out we had a lovely afternoon.. She also helped us with reservations for the ferry to Inishmore and the Cliffs of Moher.
Breakfasts were very good, the bedroom large and the bed comfortable.
It was enjoyable to stay on the farm. Since we come from a farming community. husband was very interested in seeing the Irish farm operation. Michael and Anthony seemed quite happy to share with the Americans. We rather enjoyed hearing the rooster in the morning and the cows getting ready for their morning milking.
We enjoyed our stay and will visit Clareview again if we are fortunate enough to return to Ireland.
We spent 4 nights at Clareview house as we had always something new to visit every day, next to Kinvara. Brenda is very attentive to the confort of her guests, and her cooking is simply amazing !!! Take time to enjoy it. Room is big and bed is perfect.
If you plan to visit the Aran islands, you will have to ask to Mickael (the owner) his best advises as he is an "island man" in his heart.
Brenda, thank you for your hospitality during our stay at your home. Of all the places we stayed at while we were in Ireland during our two week vacation, yours was the best. Although we were just visitors, we almost felt like family the way you treated us. From the wonderful cup of tea and the scones upon our arrival, assisting in the reservations for the Dunguaire Castle medieval dinner, the accommodations, and those awesome breakfasts, everything was just lovely.
Both of us want to return to Ireland, particularly to visit the Western part of your country since we did not have sufficient time to see everything we wanted to see. It may not be for a couple years, but when we make plans to travel there, we certainly will be contacting you for lodging.
Again, thank you so much for making our stay a truly pleasant experience.
I can't begin to say enough about the wonderful time we had staying at Clareview House. Brenda was a perfect hostess. Paying attention to every small detail from tea in the sunroom, to crisp beautiful bed linens, and an absolutely delicious breakfast. There was even a darling litter of puppies on the farm that my children couldnt get enough of! If you are coming to Ireland, plan to stay here several nights and make it your home-base. You won't be disappointed.
If you want the experience of an excellently run B&B on a working Irish farm (dairy cattle, sheep dogs and horses), this is it. Brenda is always at the ready to offer tea as well as breakfasts for any taste and advice about the region. Rooms larger than some such guest houses. Wi-Fi not available upstairs, but one is always welcome to the family quarters, where it works. Close to Kinvara and other Burren attractions and less than an hour from Shannon Airport. Warm Irish hospitality that easily made us forget the pouring rain outside. Highly recommended.
