We had an amazing stay at Gorman's. The room was lovely, and the attention to detail, (for example the whitest, fluffiest bath towels and bottled water in the room) was excellent and the meals were delicious. However, the very best thing about Gorman's is the location. Simply stunning views!

My husband and I finished out trip to the Dingle peninsular with two nights at Gorman's. It was excellent - service exceptional, food superb and a wonderful setting, looking out over the Atlantic. Watching the sunset as we ate dinner in the intimate dinning room was a perfect finish to our trip. Put this on your list for accommodation if you are travelling in this area of Ireland. Breathtaking sea view from our room was difficult to leave!! We would certainly return if we are in this area again.

We stayed at Gorman's Clifftop House for one night during our 10-day trek through Ireland. After a very long drive from Connemara that day, arriving at the house was a welcome relief. The house was warm, intimate, and I guess you could say similar to staying over your grandparents' house.

We had an executive sea room view that was fairly spacious with views, as promised. The furnishings were modest and basically what I'd expect from an inn/b&b type of place. Bathroom was clean, modern, and even had a jacuzzi tub.

The restaurant at the house was fantastic! Quality ingredients and simple preparations turned out really amazing classic Irish and comfort food dishes. Definitely one of the best meals we had during our entire trip.

But I doubt anyone would stay here for the room or food. The real reason anyone would choose this place is for its location on the Dingle peninsula. The walking trail that begins right across the road takes you through the most amazing landscapes. We honestly could have walked for hours but turned back after it was getting dark.

Great experience! Thank you!

This place has an amazing location and could have easily scored five star; however, the service and attitude at this establishment leaves a lot to be desired.

If you are looking for hospitality and the Irish "cheer" where you rest your head, I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere.

From the moment the pot of tea is placed in front of you on arrival until the au revoirs on departure Sile and her fantastic team give you a relaxed experience second to none. The views are spectacular, the food is great and the staff are all so helpful. We were especially grateful to Jenny for her suggestion to visit Brandon Point and Glanteenassig Forest. Our second visit and we shall return for a third visit. It's a long drive from Norwich but it's worth the journey!

From the exquisite views as you arrive, as Molly the Retriever wags you a friendly hello, to the kind of welcome you get from Sile and her team; warm, hospitable and genuine, everything about Gormans seems easy, perfect. But there is a great deal of thought and planning necessary in putting people at their ease and it shows. If the sun is shining, you can wander around the spectacular cliffs and beaches and come back to a hot shower, fluffy robes and cool glass of something nice. If the rain is horizontal, there's a cosy turf fire and a pot of tea waiting on you. There are games and books and the comfiest most restful beds in Ireland. There are lamps and candles lighting to comfort you. Breakfast is a relaxed, thoughtful affair, dinner is an excellent, delicious, more-ish feast and expertly prepared with quality local and organic ingredients. The rooms are cosy, spacious and spotless with beautiful sea and mountain views. The staff, taking their lead from Sile and Vincent, are friendly and professional in their attention to detail, without ever being intrusive. Come here once and you will return again and again and again. Dingle is great, but Gorman's is the reason I come here now. It is a wished-for haven from the madness and I can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Sea views are breath-taking, but the mountain rooms have a wonderful quiet beauty also. All the room...

Gormans is a really wonderful guesthouse. It's a 5 star experience. A great host Sile, a warm cosy and stylish house which is very relaxing even when the wind is howling and the sea raging all around as it was when we were here. We are here in the evening and it was superb both in terms of quality and service. Not cheap but there are economical options. All local craft food produce and even local beer. Breakfast was outstanding! It has a real Atlantic feel.
