Let me start by saying the food in the restaurant was fantastic & staff are very helpful.
We stayed in room 227. There was no air conditioning but the biggest let down was the noise level through the walls & from the hall.
The noise was just regular conversation from next door but it travelled through the wall. There was also (what I consider to be) large gaps under the doors which aloud all noise from the hall in to the room.
We were offered another room when it was brought to the attention of reception, however the only other available room was next to the lift.
Also, when heating came on the radiators shook & caused rhe walls to (literally) vibrate & rattle.
We went on a deal/offer. Overall it was just about acceptable for the price paid.

Dear Acea R

Thank you for posting your review of the Clanard Court Hotel on TripAdvisor.

I delighted to hear that you found our food and service was of a high standard, but disappointed that your room wasn't as comfortable as we would hope.

The Hotel is only 8 years old and therefore, the insulation is of a high standard. Since you alerted this problem to us, we have brought this matter to the to attention of maintenance for rectification and we are seeking advice from our engineer on how to improve this.

I hope we can welcome you back to the Hotel again soon.

was nice but defo think they should have more on for the kiddies. Theres animals out the front but a kids club or more activities for them would be ideal. Also no swimming pool or leisure centre only the community one in the town which if you have no car is a long way away. Would stay again staff were great and very helpful but these are just things that could be improved.

Dear Sarah R

Thank you for taking the time to post your review of the Clanard Court Hotel on TripAdvisor.

I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for your suggestion for more children's activities. This is something we are working on at present and we currently have plans in place to develop this aspect of the Hotel - particularly during mid-term breaks and the Summer.

Unfortunately, due to the size of the Hotel we cannot accommodate an in-house leisure facility, but offer all guests complimentary access to K Leisure Centre in town which is just a short car/taxi ride from the Hotel.

I look forward to welcoming you back to the Hotel again soon.

My husband took me here for my birthday on the 23rd March for 2 nights. The hotel was lovely, staff couldn't have been more helpful. The food in the bar is gorgeous and reasonably priced. We also had treatments in the hotel treatment room, wow my face felt so clean and fresh after a facial. The General Manager was always available in the hotel if needed not that we did. Would stay again and recommend anyone else to also. The Japanese Gardens and Irish National Stud are only a 20 min drive away also.

Ate in the public bar on Easter Monday. First impressions excellent. Beautiful foyer area and friendly guy at desk. Bar area was busy enough. We got menus and ordered food and drinks. The girl taking our order was accommodating to our needs but didn't write any of our order down..with the result that she had go come back twice to clarify our order!? Anyway, the food was nice and the hotel appeared like somewhere I would be happy to stay if the opportunity arose. In saying that good service is easily provided and I am more than willing to tip accordingly when this service presents itself.

Dear ilovedisneyBelfast

Thank you for taking the time to post your review of the Clanard Court Hotel on TripAdvisor.

It's great to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Bailey's Ba. We pride ourselves on showcasing the best of local produce in a simple and affordable menu - so I'm thrilled that you enjoyed your meal. I do, however, apologise for the apparent confusion with your order, as it is standard practice to write down food orders.

I hope to welcome you back to the Hotel again soon - perhaps you might like to try dinner in Bailey's Brasserie for a real treat!

Reception staff and service real good but bedroom was a 'meeting room' I assume but converted to a bedroom with a 'pulldown' bed ... Certainly the bed was very uncomfortable.
The heating was not on during the day but did come on in the evenings. There was no way of turning on the heating .Room price was not cheap even with a promotion rate.

Dear BiggestJohn22

Thank you for taking the time to post your review of the Clanard Court Hotel on TripAdvisor.

I'm thrilled to hear that you found our staff and service were of a high standard, but am disappointed that you were not satisfied with your accommodation. We strive to ensure that every guest has an enjoyable stay and a good night's sleep, so I'm sorry this was not the case for you.

The room you were in is a bedroom that is sometimes used for small meetings. As we only have 37 guest rooms, we try to accommodate as many wedding guests as possible to help maintain the atmosphere of the Wedding day for the Bridal party.

In regards to heatint, there is an air conditioning unit on the wall in that room that you can turn on and off as you please to regulate the temperature to suit your comfort. All units in the Hotel were only serviced just days before your stay, so they were all in perfect working condition. Had you reported the room being cold to our reception staff, we would have been more than happy to assist you.

I do hope that you will come back again so you can experience the true Clanard Court hospitality.
