On booking in we were greeted by a rather glum and disinterested girl who was not impressed that I wanted to pay for my stay with cash. The bedroom was ok as you entered but on inspection you could see it had not been cleaned properly, under the armchair was a cigarette lighter and a lot of food crumbs. The breakfast room sports a very stained carpet, and on the floor at my table was a piece of brown bread. Just before leaving the hotel I used the ladies toilets near the reception and to my delight I found a broken glass just swept into a corner behind the toilet. If the Osprey wish to keep their 4 star they really need to up their cleaning, and encourage the reception staff to greet their guests in a much more polite manner. Would I stay there again NO NEVER.
