We were dismayed to see a "Poor" review pop up today, but this has got to be a complete mistake. We do not deep fry our chicken, or anything else. In fact we do not even have a deep fat fryer as it would not be of any benefit with the freshly prepared menu we offer. We do not serve wedges and never have in 15 years. We have not had Cod on the menu in a number of years. I am assuming the reviewer has mixed us up with another Waterside and not Waterside Graiguenamanagh(sadly we have a name that is all too common around Ireland and Britain), or with some other establishment. Anyone that wishes to view our menu or sample our fare will realise this review does not refer to us. Therefore we would request that this review is removed before it does any harm to our business. We have been working very hard in the last couple of years to ensure we produce quality on a consistent basis and our reviews have been pretty good in that time. Hopefully this is just a genuine mistake.

Waterside retaurant and guesthouse is on the quay in Graiguenamanagh. The food is delicious and the bedrooms look out on the river as if it runs past the window. Brian and Bridget will answer all your questions and offer advice on all there is to do locally. We have cycled canoed swum and hiked and dined in the restaurant after.

We stayed and ate here after walking from Bagnelstown (16 miles), so were tired and hungry. Dinner was lovely, service excellent. The next morning we had Breakfast: I had both Porridge and Pancakes: a nice change from the Full Irish. The Carbs were well used up in the final stretch of the Barrow Way - on to St. Mullins in glorious sunshine.
