“We didn't want to leave!”
Reviewed 17 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We have stayed at Mount Brandon Cottages on many occasions over the years and are never disappointed. This time was no exception, there was a big group of us both young and old and we had a fantastic two weeks.
There is so much we can say....beautiful cottages, home from home, child friendly, ideal location, stunning views, lots to explore... where do we stop! There is truly something for everyone!
Andrea is so welcoming and really goes that extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect, nothing is too much trouble and there is always a plate of something delicious waiting for you on arrival
The beautiful town of Graiguenamagh is very special to us and the cottages are situated in an ideal spot to enable you to explore locally or further a field. There is everything on your doorstep - if you like walking, being on the water, eating out or just enjoying the beautiful scenery and reading up on the local history, you will find it locally. We enjoyed doing the heritage trail and finding the 12 monks dotted around the town.
If you just want to sit and do nothing then the cottages are well equipped with everything you need. They are spotlessly clean, bright, spaciousness and very charming.
The BBQ house is fantastic and we used it a number of times on our stay. There is also the lovely pottery studio run by Carmen and you can even book a lesson in you fancy it!. The children loved being out in the gardens and enjoyed playing badminton and racing around on their scooters.
During our stay we managed to fit in lots of activities locally which included golf, horse riding and lots of stunning mountain and river walks.
Brandon cottages are a little gem and we can't recommend them enough for anyone visiting the south east of Ireland ....we will definitely be back again soon!
Thank you Andrea

Delighted you had a great holiday with us, Gillian! You seemed to enjoy the gardens and got to do quite a bit of touring of nearby gardens and towns. The ideal holiday to unwind and get to know a lovely part of Ireland's Ancient East. We hope you will be back again. Best wishes

Hello the Fletchers! Thank you very much for staying with us and for the kind review. We are delighted you enjoyed the cottage and surrounds and are very pleased that you took us up on the pottery offering. It's always brilliant to see guests enjoying themselves and using all the facilities. Goes to show that we have done something right. ;-)
Here is hoping we get to welcome you back again soon.
Best regards to all the family.

Thanks a million, Denis. It was our pleasure to host your group of friends! Delighted too, that you enjoyed the delights of the Devils Menu, prepared right here for you guys. Great to see the BBQ hut being put to good use. Best wishes (and make sure to come and see us again before too long).

This is the second time my family have stayed in Mount Brandon Cottages. On both occasions Andrea was very welcoming and informative. The cottages are clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We would highly recommend staying here.
