“Great views”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

This is lovely hotel in a great holiday location. Beautiful views. There is a nice outdoor seating area over looking the sea. Great spot for a summer evening. The rooms are contemporary and have good comfortable beds.. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and breakfast was high quality with a good selection. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying here again in the near future.

this hotel is 10min drive from sligo centre, along a marine drive and causway and the location is great reception on arrival was warm and friendly, the room was on the same level as the bar and resturant. the food was to die for! great choice and cooked to perfection, service class ! wine divine.
highly reccomend this hotel to anyone. superb location for golf and just having a relaxing time, we never got to sample the spa or the gym or the pool the bar was very good (once you get used to the prices) although not excessive when compared to other hotels of this standard.
I will be back.

Room Tip: rooms on the same floor as reception are much too convienient to the bar lol.

One of the best hotels to stay in. The hotel itself is top class, the service is excellent and the food is superb. 10 minutes drvie into Sligo town and very close to lovely restaurants/ pubs and beech in Rosses Point. I would recommend visiting Lissadell beach in Maugherow which is a 25 minute drive from here. This hotel is suitable for all types of occassions.

This hotel has an incredible view of one of Queen Medb alleged burial sites, a 12 m high stone cairn on the summit of Knocknarea. It has many beautifull flowers in the garden.

It is a modern hotel with a large restaurant and nice food. Since we were in a tour they served us a buffet, the only problem was that there wasn´t enough food for everyone.

Rooms were nice and comfortable and it was close to Sligo's main attractions.

A modern, well appointed hotel. Great buffet breakfast and good restaurant, bar and room service. Free use of large pool, sauna, steam room and gym - all better than the facilities in some 5 star hotels I've stayed in. Being in Ireland it is no surprise that the hotel and staff are very family friendly. All in all a relaxing 11 night stay whilst visiting friends and family in the area. Thoroughly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

Recently visited with the family, having been here before. Had a really good time. Was during the absolutely fantastic weather in July. Rooms had air con, which was a great boon. In general, the room was very comfortable indeed. Just perfect for us & the two kids. Restuarant food was fantastic - ate there one evening. Breakfast very tasty indeed.
Used the gym & the pool - both excellent; not busy or crowded.
Location is also fantastic - close to nice beaches, close to Strandhill & the walk up to Queen Maeve's cairn, close to Benbulben, Sligo, etc.
The tourist amenities in this area have really come on in last few years. A great choice for all comers as an area to holiday in, and this was a good hotel to use as a base.

Room Tip: Oh, a room looking out over Sligo Bay would be nice - we got one of those!
