Very positive experience from checking in to leaving.
The hotel is clean and decor fresh. Rooms are well appointed and a little larger than normal.
Food is varied and fairly priced whether eating in the bar or restaurant. Breakfasts are particularly good, with fresh juices, cereals and cooked food easily to hand and hot. Another big plus with the Radisson is the ice machine near the lifts which came in handy for a quick drink before dinner.
Problems in the hotel are quickly dealt with as we found when our friends shower developed a fault. The unit was replaced by the time we returned to the hotel.
Another big plus for the hotel was the free wifi which was available throughout the building.
Any niggles? Well, one or two... We were wrongly billed for a table d'hôte meal. Some meal vouchers totalling €40 were not taken off our bill although presented on arrival at the restaurant. This was pointed out and a new bill issued. On a more practical front I think that the bedrooms are a little too warm, and must be eating energy, this point was confirmed by our friends in neighbouring room.
And on a health and safety note the bathroom when wet is extremely slippery and great care must be taken when the floors are wet, however,
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to return.

Would totally recommend this hotel - it's in a great location and ideal for walks if the weather is good. We ate in the hotel on both nights and totally enjoyed the food - a short but very good menu. The staff were extremely knowledagble.

Stayed here for a family break and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute . The food was top class starting with a fabulous buffet breakfast and dinner was fantastic. There was no queuing for buffet breakfast, the service was perfect and the staff all well trained and always customer aware.
Our room was basic but spotless and we were very impressed at the little touches to add comfort along the way. From the ice machine and she shine in the corridor to the fridge in the room it is evident that this hotel is all about the comfort of the guest(s).
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone whom is looking for a relaxing value break but no compromise on service or amenities.

Groupon were offering a deal so we figured we'd treat ourselves to a little getaway. Location was pretty handy as even though neither of us drive there is a bus stop directly outside of the hotel than runs straight from the train station.

The hotel staff were excellent as even thought they seemed to be short staffed for the duration of our trip they helped each other out and changed sections depending on need. In the Classiebawn restaurant they made space for us even without a reservation and because of the lack of staff they offered complimentary amuse bouche while we waited, even though the wait wasn't long at all. The breakfast buffet in the mornings had everything you could possible ask for and the staff were on hand if anything else was needed. We ate in the bar a couple of times too and I got some of the best chicken wings I've ever had! The 'bar food' was, in both presentation and taste, on par with some restaurants I've been to in Dublin but the atmosphere is a bit more relaxed than the Classiebawn restaurant. Lovely bar staff too and a nice place to have a few evening drinks.

The only trouble we experiences was with the spa. Our groupon voucher gave us access to use of the Thermal suite in the Solas spa. The first day of our trip we took full advantage of this and left fully rested and relaxed. The second day we returned to the spa and were told it was booked out for the entire evening by a large group and if we wanted to use it we'd only have about 40 mins. This was not a problem as we had plans later in the day anyway and only wanted to go in for a short time. The girl was about to give us our locker keys before saying that we'd have to pay as the thermal suite was only free when another treatment over €45 was booked. I had the feeling she was just trying to get rid of us before the large group came in as there had been no problem using the facilities the day before. We went to the pool instead and used the sauna and steam room. When we returned to the room we checked the voucher and it definitely did give us access to the thermal suite for the duration of out stay. I was disappointed by the misinformation provided by the spa staff.

A reasonably good hotel which is clean and well run. The bar is spacious and family friendly with a decent enough bar menu, although the drink is expensive.

The breakfast is good, but can get very busy around 10.00 am. You may have to queue to get in around this time.

The rooms are fine, but there is one fundamental flaw that makes me give this hotel a 3 star. I have attached a photo showing the view from the room. The room has the worst view I have ever seen in a hotel room - a slate room that you can actually touch by reaching out the window!!. Bear in mind that Ross's Point has spectacular scenery - pity I could not see any of it. I suspect that there are more than just one room affected - possibly about 6 or so rooms. I complained bitterly about this, which this was really just dismissed as unfortunate by reception staff. The least they could have done was knocked about 20 euro of the bill, but no such luck. Because of this, I will probably not return.

If you are happy looking at slates, then fine. However, if you prefer a decent view, then check with the hotel before you go. If you are unhappy with the room, then they probably do not care much - a case of tough luck!!

Room Tip: Be vary careful what room you are given - some have dreadful views

We were here for a family occasion, and the restaurant staff couldn't have done more for us during our celebratory dinner. The rooms were clean and functional, had all that I needed. Breakfast did seem a bit of a free for all, though I think this was more to do with the fact it was booked out - there was a Fèis on, so lots of little people running around until the late hours - not the fault of the hotel, I should add. The weather was atrocious, so couldn't get exploring the grounds. All in all, would recommend it.
