We stayed for one night in Bansha House when atttending a wedding with friends in Kilshane House.
We picked the downstairs bedroom with ensuite and our friends went to the upstairs bedrooms. The room was freezing cold and the ensuite was so small that you had to leave the door open while using it. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Our friends upstairs had to share a bathroom and did not have any hot water in the morning for a shower. The host was chatty in a business like manner, the other two ladies that worked there were very friendly and the best part of the stay. I hope they got the tip I left for them.. The breakfast was only ok. The rashers were overcooked and hard and there was no extras such as yogurt, scones, fruit that I have got in other B&B s. We had to constantly ask for coffee toast etc....It was outrageously overcharged for the service provided. I will not recommend this B&B to anyone I know attending at the wedding venue nearby.....More
