Delicious Sunday carvery lunch with amazing variety and flavours. Nowhere better to spend a cosy afternoon with great food and a wonderful chilled out time by the fire over drinks in the drawing room. Wonderful service too!

Room Tip: All gorgeous!

Thank you for your lovely review of our Sunday Lunch. As you know its a very traditional lunch with loads of starters, and then always roast beef carved off the bone , supplemented with legs of lamb or venison in season. . We always have a fish and vegetarian dish on, and of course Abi our one of our Indian Chefs puts his touch on the lunch with his amazing Sunday curries. And after all that you have to get through the dessert and cheese tables! Please do come back and see us again soon and thank you for wiring your review. From all at Rathsallagh.

The house and grounds are beautiful. The staff are friendly & efficient. The food is gorgeous.
Choice and variety of food for breakfast is wonderful.

Room Tip: We were in the Lily room, lots of space & a huge bathroom

We spent a night here after Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it even though it rained the whole time and we didn't get to explore the grounds. We stayed in "Bella" room which is one of three standard rooms overlooking the courtyard across from the main house. Gorgeous well appointed room with beams and comfortable bed, Standard rooms only have a shower no bath. We ate in the restaurant that night and food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable sitting rooms with open fires. Perfect setting to get away from it all!

Thank you for a lovely review. Bella is in a part of the House that dates back to the 1700;s we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stays there. To note that all of our rooms have bath’s with the exception of Susie, Bella and Apricot. In fact the next time you come why not ask for one of the rooms with the big double ended baths, or even the Garden room where the bath looks out over the walled garden, lovely for just siting there and soaking it all up. Please od come back and see us soon, we have some lovely mid-week breaks this Spring and Summer that are well worth looking into. Thanks again from all at Rathsallagh

The staff at Rathsallagh house are absolutely fabulous, Our wedding day went off without a hitch. I did not have to worry about anything, I knew everything would run smoothly in their capable hands. The house itself is like something out of a fairy tail we had guests from all over the world and they all commented on what a beautiful venue Rathsallagh is and how hospitable the staff were. We felt like it was our home for the weekend. The staff at this historic and beautiful house are so kind hearted, professional and hard working, nothing is too much. Thank you Catherine and the team at Rathsallagh for the weekend of a lifetime, you gave us a fairy tail to remember and we will be forever grateful. Blathnaid and Nick ( Mrs and Mr Simkins !! )

Dear Blathnaid and Nick. Thank you so much for taking the time to write . It’s the praise for the team here that is appreciated more than anything, they all work so hard to ensure that every wedding is more special than the last. Catherine is blushing now as I write with the praise you gave her, she sends her very best regards. We wish you both long life and happiness and we hope you will come back and see us soon. From all the team at Rathsallagh.

We had our wedding reception in Rathsallagh in November 2013. Wow, wow, wow. It was just perfect from the moment we arrived to get ready at 9am until the party finished at 4am. Our guests were truly impressed by the venue. It is a really special place, very individual, oozing with character, and there is a wonderful ambience throughout. The service was exceptional, from the time we first looked at this venue, through the booking process and months of planning; and on the day the staff couldn't have been more organised, obliging and well tuned-in to providing the top class service that one would expect from a classical Blue Book hotel. The food was outstanding and we have had so many comments on the quality of every course, and the exceptional service.
To top it all off, the setting, in a beautiful part of Wicklow is stunning. We look forward to returning soon. Rathsallagh is a real treasure.

Room Tip: Kilbarry is awesome.
