Too many rangers that drive everywhere, and no support for other activities other than walking. They have clear felled large areas with only small areas of replanting. There are walks with placed railway sleepers that are coated with tar, that can lead inexperienced walkers into remote areas.

Excellent day trip from Dublin! Gorgeous countryside and very knowledgable driver. Richie was superb! Avoca was great place to see as well. Oldest weaving looms - items are still handmade. Products are gorgeous .

A gorgeous park with lakes and views and church ruins. This was our first stop and we hiked only a small part of this beautiful park.

The Wicklow Mountains can be a nice trip to the countryside. There are some places to stop and to make good photos. It can be very windy (and cold) in the winter, so be aware of that.

This drive out from Dublin was well worth the time - 'eased' us into what we would see during the remainder of our visit to this beautiful island. Rolling mountains, clear streams - would be great place to hike. Gorse was all along the hillsides.
