We stopped here for lunch and it was amazing. Good food, varied selection and option to have large meal or a lighter bites. We opted for the Irish Stew, which was very tasty. A real find!

Stopped for lunch after a lovely walk.
Great decor and atmosphere, recommend the smoked salmon open sandwich washed down with a small glass of the black stuff!.
Went back the next day, very busy but managed to get a table (there were 7 of us). Irish stew delicious.
Staff and service excellent, especially the manageress.

I'm always a little skeptical about eating in restaurants owned by hotels/lodging, but this was delicious. We were exhausted when we arrived, since this was our first night in Ireland and we were suffering from jet lag. The waitress was very sweet, and let us take our time choosing what to order. While one person took our order, it seemed like the whole staff took care of us - we never needed to ask for anything! We shared a gorgonzola tart appetizer, I had Wicklow lamb with roasted vegetables, and my husband had pan-seared sea bass. Both meals came with a choice of potatoes and a huge side of fresh vegetables. The fish was cooked perfectly, the lamb was tender, and the portions were huge. We couldn't have finished even if we'd been hungrier.
