Loved this place-great helpful host and a wonderful location. Great Irish breakfast! Glin itself is a smart village with good pubs and cafes, The location is about a mile west of Glin. There are lovely walks in the area which is near the Tarbert to Killimer car ferry if you want to visit Clare.

We had a double at the front with a great view over the Shannon estuary. The location was great for us as we were touring up the west coast and going to catch an early ferry the next morning from Tarbet across the estuary into Connemara county Galway. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked and the owners friendly and helpful recommending a good place to have dinner. We left a small wash bag in the room and John very kindly posted it back to us on our return to the UK. All in all a nice friendly B&B.

House is smart and tidy. Views good. our room was called pine room and had two beds with virtually no room between them. Certainly not luxurious as claimed. Kettle supplied but the short lead meant it had to be plugged in and boil on the floor. So called bathroom was tiny. Hand basin only. no room for toiletries. towels damp. Area very quiet, Breakfast OK but no fruit.Cut short our visit.

We stayed in Knights Haven for a weekend for a wedding and had a beautiful stay. House bedroom breakfast was top class. The breakfast was cooked freshly in the morning and the friendliness of the owners is fantastic. There is a lovely homely feel about the house. We really enjoyed the breakfast and fantastic value at 65 per night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your charming farmhouse. You were excellent host and Patrice was a delight to converse with. The accommodation was lovely and the food was gorgeous. We will definitely come again.

We stayed at knights Haven for 3 nights and it was excellent. We were attending a local wedding and from the time we arrived they looked after us extremely well. Cup of tea and cakes and biscuits on arrival, tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms. They drove us to the local village and picked us up and no charge. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. The warmt of the house and the rooms was lovely. We enjoyed wedding but our stay at knights haven made it for us.

Each room is individually appointed, and mine had a large comfortable
bed, a plasma screen television, separate power-shower, a comfortable
sitting area and a lovely view out over the River Shannon. One of the
most interesting things about Knights Haven is that each of the rooms
is different, and therefore the price structure can accommodate all
pockets. The real jewel in their crown is the hospitality and the
quality of breakfast.
