Orgueil apartment for 2,top floor. Good location, nice & quiet. Equipping needs to be much better to get above average scoring - it wouldn't take much - just a liittle thought about how people use a place! There's no microwave. So with family-sized saucepans, no baking tray or dishes, and no jug for sauces - conventional cooking was the only option and a bit of a challenge. The sofa is really uncomfortable and far too small to seat two people in comfort, and there's no other easy chair - yet there's a table and four chairs for dining - just not logical! Things like no hooks in the bedroom or bathroom for robes, nor in the hallway for coats is annoying. There are no laundry facilities - not even an iron/ironing board - nor an indoor line in the bathroom to hang swimwear to dry. It's these little things that cause hassle!

We have stayed at the Beausite for 16 years and found the whole experience to be extremely relaxing and good value for money. The staff are always helpful, friendly and highly efficient and willing to go that extra mile. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained and the food is of a very high standard, but the car park is a bit of a challenge. We have stayed here for many years with the family and they have enjoyed every visit, which is why we have returned for all these years. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at this Hotel as it is a home from home. All we need to know is our room number and table number and we are fully relaxed!!

This was our fifth visit and we've already provisionally booked for next year.We love the location of the hotel, out on the east coast of the Island. A good walk( 30 - 45 minutes ) to Gorey with its quaint harbour and great bars and a choice of restaurants and there is also a regular bus service up to Gorey and back into St Helier . Parking is often tight in the hotel car park , but wherever you go in Jedrsey parking is tight, there are just too many cars for a small Island( ask any local !)
The hotel is very well run, the staff are friendly and helpful. The larger family rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable beds. The seagull alarm call we found refreshing as we live in a city and with small children it adds to the seaside atmosphere. The hotel is very child - orientated with its games room , indoor swimming pool and garden. There are moments when children are running in and out of the garden having fun with new found friends ,so not always calm in the recption for a few hours in the evening in high season. The majority of guests are friendly and in a "guest -house style " exchange experiences and ideas for visiting the Island. There are a lot of guests who come back regularly.
The only negative points the water temperature in the shower often fluctuates, there is a notice warning you but it can still be annoying! Also this year we found the bar prices high for a glass of house wine.

With 5 of us in our party, we wanted an apartment rather than hotel rooms. These are somewhat difficult to locate on the island, but the reviews for Beausite seemed good.

First the positives, the apartment was clean and spacious. There were two good sized rooms each with a bathroom and these were cleaned each day.

Onto the areas for improvement. Having stayed in other apartments over the last couple of years, it is getting more and more common for there to be a welcome pack on arrival, e.g. a cake or cookies along with tea and coffee and so on. Don't expect them here! You don't get tea / coffee / milk / sugar/ cleaning materials / soap / and the list goes on.

In short you get a room and beds. Whilst this would have been fine a decade ago, personally i don't think it's up to the mark these days and does not reflect the price we paid.

another great stay for the family and the extended family.

The Hotel is still maintained to the highest standards however some do comment that the decor may be a little dated, the food is worth coming back for alone.

A perfect venue for a family holiday in a 3 star hotel on Jersey.

Parking at the hotel was extremely difficult due to the confined space. Bar prices were extortionate and draught beers were limited. Breakfast, although semi-buffet was excellent. If you are in a garden facing room you are on view to everyone so therefore privacy depicts you close your curtains. Staff polite and friendly but ............ night times were a trial! Children were allowed to run around unsupervised until late, inside and out with little consideration for other guests - made relaxing difficult.

Room Tip: If you have any sort of disability please request a ground floor room as there is NO lift and plenty...

Just finished 12 days at the Beausite after recommended by our friends, who joined us this holiday. Hotel very pleasant, clean and the staff second to none, nothing too much trouble. Food excellent would suggest staying half board unless you particularly want to go out every evening.

Decor in rooms, ours on 2nd floor, a little bit tired and dated. Our only real gripe is the lack of a good shower, ours was woefully underpowered and very unreliable with temperature.

I would suggest getting a room that is not on the top floor as the gulls first thin in the morning can give you a very early alram call!!
