My husband and I found the hotel to be of a high standard. On our first trip we booked bed and breakfast but changed to half board when we sampled the food. The standard of cleanliness was first class in the bathrooms and bedrooms, the beds were spotless. Last but not least the staff were always pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back.

I have visited this hotel numerous times over the last 21 years and it is like visiting my extended family. The majority of the staff are Portugese, many of whom have worked there most of their working lives. The restaurant is run extremely efficiently and serves good quality home style cooking with a varied menu each day. The housekeeping team do an excellent job of maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. The staff are prepared to go the extra mile to cater for the customers' individual needs. Although the hotel does need some updating in the rooms, the high standard of service and cleanliness far out weigh this slight negative. I will definitely be returning next year.

The Beausite Hotel is situated in the favoured resort of Grouville near to the most
photographed harbour of Gorey and its resplendent Castle.
The en-suite bedrooms are exceptionally well kept and cleanliness is paramount, there is more than ample storage too. The hotel in general is kept extremely clean, the garden area
is a delight with many floral displays, ample sun loungers, tables and chairs and an
immaculate lawned area.
Off the garden is located the heated indoor pool, with pool towels available from reception,
together with a small adjacent gym.
We came back to the hotel because the staff really care, some of which have been there for
some plus 25 years, its their home too, they really love to see people return and welcome
you back.
The food is very good too, breakfast is firstly a buffet for cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheese and
ham continental choice, croissants, followed by your choice of English waiter served hot breakfast, toast, preserves, butter together with either tea or coffee.
Dinner is 4-course, Starter, soup, choice of x4 main course, your choice from the dessert trolley or cheese and biscuits followed by tea or coffee. All made helpful by their brilliant helpful staff.
We asked if a particular starter we enjoyed on a previous stay could be available to us, and
they provided it for us without hesitation and it was better than we imagined too.
This hotel is homely, hospitable, un-complicated, happy and welcoming, exceptionally clean,
the food is really very good too with generous portions. The staff are happy, they love their
hotel and it shows - what more could you want?
Thanks Beausite - See you again soon.

Orgueil apartment for 2,top floor. Good location, nice & quiet. Equipping needs to be much better to get above average scoring - it wouldn't take much - just a liittle thought about how people use a place! There's no microwave. So with family-sized saucepans, no baking tray or dishes, and no jug for sauces - conventional cooking was the only option and a bit of a challenge. The sofa is really uncomfortable and far too small to seat two people in comfort, and there's no other easy chair - yet there's a table and four chairs for dining - just not logical! Things like no hooks in the bedroom or bathroom for robes, nor in the hallway for coats is annoying. There are no laundry facilities - not even an iron/ironing board - nor an indoor line in the bathroom to hang swimwear to dry. It's these little things that cause hassle!

We have stayed at the Beausite for 16 years and found the whole experience to be extremely relaxing and good value for money. The staff are always helpful, friendly and highly efficient and willing to go that extra mile. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained and the food is of a very high standard, but the car park is a bit of a challenge. We have stayed here for many years with the family and they have enjoyed every visit, which is why we have returned for all these years. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at this Hotel as it is a home from home. All we need to know is our room number and table number and we are fully relaxed!!

This was our fifth visit and we've already provisionally booked for next year.We love the location of the hotel, out on the east coast of the Island. A good walk( 30 - 45 minutes ) to Gorey with its quaint harbour and great bars and a choice of restaurants and there is also a regular bus service up to Gorey and back into St Helier . Parking is often tight in the hotel car park , but wherever you go in Jedrsey parking is tight, there are just too many cars for a small Island( ask any local !)
The hotel is very well run, the staff are friendly and helpful. The larger family rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable beds. The seagull alarm call we found refreshing as we live in a city and with small children it adds to the seaside atmosphere. The hotel is very child - orientated with its games room , indoor swimming pool and garden. There are moments when children are running in and out of the garden having fun with new found friends ,so not always calm in the recption for a few hours in the evening in high season. The majority of guests are friendly and in a "guest -house style " exchange experiences and ideas for visiting the Island. There are a lot of guests who come back regularly.
The only negative points the water temperature in the shower often fluctuates, there is a notice warning you but it can still be annoying! Also this year we found the bar prices high for a glass of house wine.
