Great restaraunt. We got the bus from St Helier to it. The food is really good and nice staff and good service. You will need to book as was completly full on a Friday night and they were turning people away.

We had a fabulous meal at Pedros whilst on honeymoon in St Aubin. Roger was extremely attentive and informative. The food was amazing. I had the crab bruschetta for starter and then the Jambalaya, but beware, you get sooo much crab bruschetta that although the Jambalaya is delicious you will not manage both! My 'husband' had the pate and the chicken curry and managed to squeeze in a dessert. Lovely experience!

The only problem I have with this place is that there is too much to choose from. Our starters were the scallops and goats cheese, both healthy portions and very nice. Main courses of duck and seabass were generous sizes and liked the side portion of vegetables. Too often you get charged for these. The flavours truly were fantastic. We only opted for dessert because we did not want to leave, such a cozy atmosphere. Easy to see why this is No.1! We will be back next year.

St Aubin offers something like 15 places to eat which is quite remarkable for quite a small place, so you are spoilt for choice. I visit Jersey quite frequently and as a qualified chef I like to try as many different restaurants as is practicable. This is one of the best. Quite small - about 32 covers. Currently boasts 'two French chefs'. Le patron very amenable and a young Romanian waitress was very pleasant. Starter and main course excellent. The dessert marred by use of canned peaches. The wine very reasonably priced and the red was served at room temperature - not commonly achieved by restaurants with far more pretension. Will certainly return here as soon as the opportunity presents itself but might skip the dessert! Be warned that on this particular Saturday night (in high season) it was fully booked so 'phone beforehand.
