“The Sail Loft, St. Aubin - great apartment, great location”
Reviewed 11 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

I stayed in Apartment 1 (ground floor) at The Sail Loft, with my 2 adult daughters, for 4 nights in May. We were delighted with the standard of the accommodation and the location (close to the seafront, with many restaurants available nearby) and would highly recommend the apartment as a base for visiting Jersey. We had reserved one of the parking spaces in front of the building, which was very convenient, as parking can be difficult. The apartment owner was very pleasant and helpful. We had a wonderful holiday, and would certainly rent the apartment again if we return to Jersey.

“Immaculate modern apartment, perfectly situated”

We stayed in apartment 1 for three months from February to May. The owners could not have been more helpful, they were waiting for us to arrive when the ferry was badly delayed due to adverse weather conditions and provided much needed coffee. Nothing has been too much trouble throughout our stay, anything we have needed has been instantly provided. Genuinely nice people.
The apartment is self contained and has been renovated to a very high standard and it was immaculately clean. It's perfectly located by the harbour, the bus stop is two minutes walk and there's a frequent bus service around the island.
The railway walk / cycle track is across the road and the leisure centre is 5 minutes drive.
St. Aubins is a great location, with some of the best restaurants on the island, our favourites being the Salty Dog and Danny's.
The owner allows dogs in the downstairs apartments which is advantageous as there is a void of high quality, pet friendly accommodation in the area.
Must also recommend Adrian from Macoles for his efficiency with the booking process.

“Modern, comfortable and well equipped”
Reviewed 30 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

The owner met us and explained what we needed to know about the apartment and was, like everyone else we met on Jersey, charming, good humoured and full of good ideas about what to do, how to use public transport, where to eat etc. The apartment is really well kitted out with dishwasher, washer/drier, DVD player and even buckets and spades. Great location just behind the front - no view as such but the beach and harbour are moments away. St Aubin is pretty quiet although with plenty of cafés, restaurants and places to drink but it was a perfect place for us to unwind from the city. Buses and taxis were near and bike hire just around the corner. The hidden gem is the disused railway line which takes you to the Corbier lighthouse along a gentle incline through delightful woodland. The Fort View cafe on the front is run by the ever so friendly Gill and Andy and offers super homemade cakes and scones.

The Sail Loft apartment no.2, was a fantastic property for my Mother and I to stay in for a short break (5 nights) The facilities and cleanliness were second to none and the location was superb, with easy access to the great bus service. I parked the car right outside and left it until we left, which allowed me to sight see without worrying about parking!
Alan the owner, was very friendly and helpful, even allowing us to stay in the apartment longer whilst we waited for our ferry in the warm and dry!
The welcome pack of food and drink was also a lovely touch.
All in all, a superb experience.

“Excellent well appointed apartment, ideally situated”

Super apartment, spotlessly clean, well appointed. Great informative welcome and thoughtful welcome pack. Ideally situated for good restaurants, convenience store and buses. Excellent restaurant (Bracewells) right across the road in staggering distance! No need to rent a car in Jersey as the bus service is good and cheap and this apartment is only about 50 yards from the bus stop. We will return........

“A Haven in Heaven”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sail Loft. We were made very welcome even though we arrived early due to the times of our ferry crossing. The accommodation finished to a high standard was clean and very comfortable, a welcome pack with all the essentials along many thoughtful extra little touches which helped our holiday get off to a great start. The location was perfect in every way, being a very short walk to the bustle of the harbour with its numerous restaurants and cafes and yet we could still sit in the courtyard of the Sail Loft enjoying a peaceful read.
